Have you ever wanted to explore far away lands, catalogue unknown creatures and make your own way in a galaxy of wonder? Well, you may actually spend most of your time trying to speak broken English to the local population of Korvax getting mildly concerned looks as you stumble out something about launching the local bird population into warp followed up by you wandering their station like a confused tourist with no map before you jump back into your ship, narrowly avoiding a collision with the nearest tree and then go full space-shuttle status taking off at a 90 degree angle so you may find more rocks to gawk at. The game is by far one of the best free-roam space games you can get currently and despite it being now almost nine years old (let that sink in huh) no game has actually managed to bump it off of it's throne even with it's utterly disaster-filled release back in 2016, it's a perfect example of a studio actually showing a level of care and dedication to a game instead of throwing their hands up at the release's failure and waddling off to make something else. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to know what it's like to be a tourist with a photography addiction and no understanding of personal space..

Playing Warthunder is bit like falling down a flight of stairs, it hurts with every time your head hits the step but you really can't stop until you hit the bottom and have your spine briefly cosplay as the letter S, compound this with the fact that this game massively favours anyone who happens to use a vehicle from certain nation where everyone types in Cyrillic and suddenly that comparatively soft mahogany staircase is now studded steel with loose legos on every single one.
The Grind in this game would make EA blush and have anyone who played Runescape have nam' tier flashbacks with the malevolent snail sapping your limited time on this Earth away so you'll be all the more tempted to reach for you oh-so inviting wallet; if you have time to blow and no sense of self-preservation, it could be the game for you but if you value your dignity, time and more importantly, blood pressure, then I'd steer clear of this time-sucking blackhole before you too fall in and return only after two months.

Dead Space 3 is a love letter to Gears of War and it shows you this in droves but unfortunately for you, me and the fourteen cats outside, it's not a good Dead Space game, with Combat being rammed down your throat so often you query if any of the SCAF actually followed through with their ultimate decision and the game drowning you in ammo and healthkits like you stumbled into Lockheed Martin and Bayer's Shared Warehouse even on the hardest difficulty, combined with the fact almost every gun uses the same ammo and suddenly you are toting the A-10's little brother launching untold amounts of projectiles down range in the knowledge at least 40% will hit their mark; the critical issue is that EA decided that this game had to have co-op, meaning a huge section of the lore, game and cool nifty trinkets is hidden behind you not being a lonely schmuck with no one to play Carver (unless you buy two copies and are pretty good at multi-tasking), this culminates into a game that is "not very good at being deadspace".
BUT, This game isn't by any means bad, it's a great game with solid visuals, solid gun play and a neat cast of characters (if you happen to have a cataract in the shape of Captain Norton) and it's world is story rich allowing for you to follow long dead characters' travels in the final moments of the chaos with it being genuinely interesting to learn how those from 200 years ago lived and knowing they still listened to Hawaiian music even on the coldest place in the universe.
If you have some spare cash and you want to play with your friend a friendly competition of "who has the flashiest firearm" then I recommend it wholeheartedly but keep in mind that you'll likely want the Awakened DLC so you can get a few more bro moments with Carver and not have the game yank the ending from under you.

I simply adore the aesthetic and movement pace of the game, it's a great title for simply allowing yourself to slip away for a moment, but I can't ignore the fact that the developer uprooted and left this stellar title to rot away in the void that is the back of the catalogue ultimately relegating it to an eternity of middling mediocrity.
If it ever goes on sale, be my guest to snoop around in it, but don't expect a game patch to come knocking.

I like this game, it's nice and allows you a great deal of creativity and freedom in how to operate your own little gaggle of psychotic morons or war-criminals, harvesting organs, becoming a central trading power or simply eking out a life as a tribe. The mod support is great too, a vast library of mods ready to make the gaming experience even better.
BUT.
The pricing on this game could be considered a little predatory, considering a single DLC rivals that of some other game titles in their price tag and ultimately their additions were already present through mods so it comes off a little aggressive in their pricing strategy; so I'd wait for it to go on a sale of some kind before reaching for the wallet.

Did you ever think to yourself, "Man, I wish I could be relentlessly beaten like a neglected child"
Well, this is game for you, whilst it doesn't include a belt-wielding father figure, it at least somewhat attempts to convey why you were beaten in the first place.

This advanced military simulator is one at the forefront of combat simu- oh who am I kidding?
This game consists of Guns, Idiots and General Irritation resulting in a cacophony of cars flying into orbit because of rocks on the road and an NPC flicking your head into the shadow realm through seven trees.
If you look past the issues and embrace some of the bugs, you get a game which can entertain for a while, just make sure to add a healthy heaping dose of mods.

1,000 Fathoms beneath the icy surface in a metal tube armed with nukes and filled with idiots, what's not to love?
I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of those high intensity moments with bouts of quietness to recollect the senses.

Ever wanted to feel like your life rests perpetually on a knife's edge and if you fall your shins will be obliterated by the razor scooter that is Fate? Well, Zomboid has tonnes of that including dying to Zombies, dying to trees or being slain by your own poor cooking.
Overall, It's a nice kind of shin-smashingly infuriating game.
