Played multiple fps before trying out Hell let loose, CS2, battlefield, COD among others. And this game was exactly the one i was looking for: a WW2 game base on teamwork communication and your average role play. No fancy killstreak, no pay to win, no weapon camo, no +100 points when you kill an enemy: keep shooting till you know for sure he's dead, getting shot from god know where. There's no need to be a veteran to contribute to the battlefield simply follow your Squad leader order to throw your body in the cap zone getting suppress by enemy MG and enemy and/or friendly artillery.

There's no tutoriel into this game which can seem a bit odd but contribute a lot to the spirit of the community: i got taught the basic under heavy fire by friendly veteran and in my turn proceed to teach a thing or two to the fresh blueberry . The community here is honestly very sweet and if you want to spend a good time here i recommend no i urge you to play it with a microphone, as long as you get a mic join a friendly new player server and don't start as tank or squad leader you will be alright (or worst commander please don't do that).

For the one starting out it can be a bit overwhelming at first, yeah don't worry about that as long as you don't take responsibility role you will alright and learn along the way. Another thing you need to know about this game, this is a war simulator and like in war you will die... a LOT and believe me you will, but its not about the K/D ratio here its all about the team effort this is one of the only game where i'm happy at the end of a game where i did a 0.3 K/D ! cause we all did what we needed to be done.

To conclude i highly recommend you this game i'm a big fan of the genre since then and trying out other similar game such as Squad and Squad 44, hope you spend as a pleasant time on Hell let loose as i did.
