After 500 hours in this dreadful world called procedural map I can tell you three things:

1. You will die. A lot. Just keep respawning and eventually you'll come across some nice guys who will help you out and teach you about the game.
2. Its aids. I have been killed by nakeds with AK:s and ambushed by savages in wolf furs whilst letting out their battlecries. You will witness things that should not be witnessed by anyone. You are going to have mental breakdowns and feel your IQ slip away from you.
3. Its fun. Although you will experience the certain hardships of Rust you are going to love it. The community is a mix of salty ragers, friendly neighbors and everything in between and so you should not let any negativity get to you, even though if it does, I do not blame you. I've had some of my best gaming memories from this game, and I have met dozens of new friends that I play with frequently. Its a great time with your friends, and it will have you laughing at times, crying at others, and have you pumped to the brim with adrenaline feeling like your heart is gonna quit on you. But honestly, who wouldn't wanna run around an island, ♥♥♥♥ flopping in the wind, and bash other nakeds with a rock?
10/10 would waste 500 hours again.
