Okay. So let me start off by saying that your heart was in the right place while making this game, dear creator. That being said, what the ****?

I have put (thusfar) 3.3 hours into this game since downloading it this morning. THREE POINT THREE ****ING HOURS. WHY? Because my stubborn *** refused, REFUSED, to believe that this game could amount to exactly 15 minutes, if not less, of actual gameplay, and a good half hour or so struggling through unskippable, poorly translated dialogue (I might as well have just kept it in the original language and had been arsed to learn Chinese) than feel every one of my muscles clench every time I tried to skip the dialogue with unforgettable errors (good comedy!) and overall a sense of the try-hards.

The plot is inconsistent and leaves you with a sense of something left unfinished. Hence why I took the liberty of continuing to play through this game in multiple attempts (with a new bubble each time, as well as visiting a new combo of places during the days leading up to each exam) in an effort to see if there was more to the game. My quest is still unfinished, as I have only gone through with three bubbles thusfar. Aside from the looming exam (I came to this game to forget university exams, and found questions just as hard-- and I'm an honours science student), the whole idea of returning lost items seems very thin in material. Like, I can see what you're trying to do, by making each character have some life and meaning and ultimately teaching Natari something, but it just doesn't fit. There is also no more development (as far as I've seen) between Natari and the other characters, most notably Astor and Lily.

The art is good for a quick, cute indie game (although I was freaked out by the bloodied-hands holding the doll and sewing needle during my second trip to the river setting) and could lead to a good game, given a better, longer, more consistent plot, and more material in general. As well as an apparent, proper ending (will Natari ever get the bubble of her dreams?)

Furthermore, I feel as though the game is also left unfinished after the exam takes place. The game abruptly ends. Given that the game is focused around exploring the opportunities that come with different bubbles, there is not only very little to do with your specified bubble, but nothing happens after you get your certificate. I realize that this is supposed to be only part one of the series, but perhaps reassuring the player that there will be more (assuming there is/will be) would go a long way.

Overall, while there are many problems with the game, it's relatively harmless, and full of potential. I'm interested to see where it goes from here.
