Managed Democracy has seen us through. With the defeat of Sony, we have carved another foothold in the long climb to liberty.

-want to play hell let looooose
-join server
-server full, have to wait in queue
-That's fine it's the norm in games like this
-get into server, all squads full except 1 armor that's locked and 1 infantry squad
-armor squad denies my join request.
-Plenty of tankers in WW2 would've been a man down by choice also
-Join infantry squad
-no squad leader, no one talking and everyone in different areas
-can't join opposite team since teams are unbalanced
-Join next server and repeat the process
-don't actually get to play the game

Everyone talks about how good the game is and they aren't wrong. When you get a good team and good game it's great. The problem is that's 1 every 20 games. Not worth unless you have a group imo. Also joining games in progress is cancer so goodluck.

Edit: Still this but not as bad, if you build up a list of a good solid servers. Also lvl 50+ servers are amazing. I've learned enough that I no longer feel the way I did when I wrote this, so I'm changing it to positive. However, I still feel like that is the experience for most new players and there's not a lot of tools to help them out which is definitely a problem and encourages people not to play.

Honestly, I don't know where to start.
On the surface It looks like there's a ♥♥♥♥ ton of stuff to do in this game. There's hundreds of individual missions, Like 10 heists, missions for your businesses, etc. The problem is you make ♥♥♥♥ money for ALMOST ALL OF THEM. Example, missions you get from the characters in from the campaign can give you somewhere around 20K, more or less depending. Seems like a good chunk of change, right? Not when you consider that car you want is 1.4 mil, or the business you want is 1.6 mil. Making money when you first start out is TERRIBLE. I played this game on and off over the years, but I really got into this time around and I forgot what the grind was like. When I downloaded it for the first time in about 2 1/2 years I was so excited to play because they had added so much content. But when I booted it up and started playing I Immediately was reminded of why I stopped in the first place. Everything feels so out of reach. There's tons of cool stuff to be had but unless you want to commit hundreds of hours to the game or buy shark cards good luck. Moving on to properties. Obviously the whole objective of online is to acquire properties and use them to make more money etc. The problem is almost every single business is 1.5 mil+ and on top of that they aren't immediately profitable. To start to make decent money you have to grind even more and piss more money into them to even break even. Example: When I got back into the game every told me the bunker was the way to go. As far as passive income was concerned this thing was regarded as the best. So I saved my money, sold a few of the cars I bought and did a ♥♥♥♥ ton of regular missions and crate warehouse missions. (Business where you collect random stuff and sell it in one big go) after a while of all of this I finally had enough to buy the cheapest bunker. This is where I realized exactly how bad the grind in this game is. So the bunker makes guns which you then do a sell mission to sell and make money. For the bunker to make guns you need supplies. There's two means to get supplies. Buy them flat out (to fill up on them is 75K) or to do a mission and go get them (which fill up 1/5 of the bar) The missions to get supplies are flat out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PLAYING SOLO. The bunker isn't the only business with terrible missions also btw. And by terrible I mean you're playing by yourself, and you go to do a resupply mission because you're broke after buying the thing and can't afford supplies. The mission is shoot down a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helicopter that's halfway across the map, kill the 3 people that parachute out in all separate directions, then take the crates back 1 at a time because you can't carry multiple. Also I forgot to mention that this entire time the whole lobby of 30 people get a pop up that you are doing this and your visible on the map the entire time. Same goes for selling the final product as well. Have a million dollars worth of guns to sell? Good luck doing it solo considering the game gives you 3 vehicles you have to take to separate locations all while the exact location of said vehicles is shown on the map for the whole lobby to see. At this point you're probably thinking "why not get some people to help you out?" and that would make sense if there was literally and incentive for other people to do so but there isn't. The MC and CEO work has a ♥♥♥♥ ton of missions designed for multiple people to play but the only person who is remotely benefited by doing them is the person that owns the businesses. You'd think if you help your friend sell 1.2 million dollars worth of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns you'd make something right? how does 5K sound? There's no incentive to help other people complete these missions as you make no money and your time would be better served doing your own. I want to play this game with my friends and have a good time but as someone who hasn't played for 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years and doesn't own a whole lot I can't, because I have to grind to get decent cars/equipment for the game to be fun. Finally we arrive to the heists. The idea of doing a heist with 4 of your buds sounds like a blast right? Break some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of jail, rob a bank, etc. And on top of that make a large sum of money. What's not to love? For starters, the beginning heists (The ones you unlock via buying a high end apartment) are terrible. Each one has 4-5 setup missions where you basically acquire the means to complete the heist. Makes complete sense until you realize these missions are literally designed to waste your time. These setup missions take so long to complete depending on the specific one. On top of that while doing a heist the normal enemies you face are beefed up and have way better aim than usual. Better aim as in you'll be swerving in and out of traffic doing 100mph and the guy on the side of a helicopter can literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beem you and hit every single shot. On top of this on normal difficulty you only get 1 extra team life. So if you are playing with someone who made the mistake of being new to the game they either sit in the back and do nothing the whole time or everyone gets punished. But it all must be worth it in the end right? That's the point of the a heist, it's meant to be challenging but have a big payout right? Welp, not according to rockstar. After around 40 mins to a hour of doing these setup missions you finally get to the heist. The objective is to go to a bank, rob it, and escape via motorcycle to a boat halfway across the map. Pretty straightforward. That is until you get the money and get out of said bank and immediately get beemed by the ♥♥♥♥ ton of cops outside. Which by the way, the whole concept of doing all this intricate prep work to get all this specific equipment just to stache your getaway vehicles 4 blocks away is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Did I mention when you get shot money falls out of your bag and is taken out of the total cut? Or if you use all 1 of your team lives and have to restart from a checkpoint you don't get that money back? So you and your 3 buddies take all this time to do this heist, you get to the finale, and half of your total 1 mil (already being split between 4 people) is taken from you because you got shot a bunch at the end. Which unless you are a 800 pound incel that plays gta more than you breathe it's impossible not to. Weird enough the money magically stops falling out of your bag after you lose half of that mil. Did I also mention that the heist has a 100K setup cost for the person that hosts? oh, and don't forget the police and civilian AI are literally programmed to run into while you are trying to escape on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ motorcycles you get. The worst part about it is that the newer the heist is, the better it gets. But rockstar can't take the time to go back and fix the old content because they are to busy bathing in the 6 BILLION DOLLARS they've made off the game to fix literally anything. There's literally 1 good way to make money in this game and that's the cayo heist. you can make around 1.4 mil a hour. Now why would I do anything else to make money except for this. Nothing else in the game gives you a payout like this. No business or heist. And you can do it solo. There's literally no balance. Rockstar developed all this ♥♥♥♥ no one uses anymore because 1 heist pays a ♥♥♥♥ ton more than anything else. Oh, I failed to mention that if you don't get a infinite loading screen while doing this stuff you'll have a modder in 99% of lobbies to blow you up and crash your game. Apparently 6 Billion isn't enough to develop some decent anti cheat. In the past two week I've had maybe 3 lobbies where there hasn't been a cheater. I didn't even touch on the greifers with stupid OP vehicles either. I know I talked specifics a lot in this review but this sums a majority of the content in regards to making money. If you insist on playing google how to "quickly repeat" the cayo heist.
