The single player campaign is an amazing mix of COH and Civ 5 in look and feel and honestly it combines two of my favorite games, i love what they did with the campaign and would love to see more the Rifleman actually feel like the back bone of the infantry again.
i would say give the game a try, I haven't had any problems which is rare to say with a AAA game these days.
