An adorable, pixelated Adventure RPG game with Co-op. I've sank in a decent amount of hours, it's a rouge light-ish game with a decent amount of replayability. Over the turns you and/or your party learn and explore the strange world, and based on your choices made the story will deviate each time. Each Hero will be immortalized in the stars above, with every success and faliure to bring the Moon back to the sky. The soundtrack and stylization is truly impressive.

This is a wonderful game, a product of hard work and a true labor of love. It's as beautiful as it gory and steeped in dark humor. It feels right at home in the Warhammer universe.

There is few games out on the market like this one, and the best comparision I could make, and this being a very general statement is, it is similar to the Left 4 Dead series in core mechanics, set in the Warhammer universe, at the start of the End Times. This is not a Left 4 Dead clone; this is a prime example of what it means to take something as inspiration, learn from it, build upon that foundation, add your ideas to it to make it your own, and have it stand alone as its own creation.

If this game ever goes on sale(It's worth the base price in my opinion, but as always, wait for sales for games!) , 50% or less, truly there's no reason to not purchase it ( I've gifted it to 5+ friends now, and that's really saying something if a game can make you want to purchase it for others the enjoy), if you enjoy 4 player Co-Op, player vs. evironment, where communication and pooling of resources is crucial to success. DLC is is entirely optional; my adivce is to find a friend or someone who has the DLC and allow them to host. Then play with them, and if you like the DLC, go out and buy it at your leisure. It's some extra levels and some new weapons to earn, and these are not essential or game breaking weapons. At best they are fun sidegrades or hybrids of two different playstyles.

You don't need to play other Warhammer games, or be familar with the franchise; I wasn't and was able to learn about the story of the game, as well as more about this deep lore rich world, oozing with sarcasm and dark humor.

This a cute lil' side scrolling adventure about a Dragon trying to get his girlfriend back. It's not serious in the slightest and filled with humor, and the artist style is drawn like a child's story book, which only adds to the charm.

This is a very fun, sweet, and short game; I feel it is worth the asking price and a few hours of your time, which is enough to complete this game, and see all there is.

I greatly enjoy the artstyle of the game, music, and the drawn art inbetween loading areas. I enjoy the lack of a narrator or words; the environment and music tell the story, which you discover on your own. There are few choices in the game that effect the ending, and on a first play through you might miss out on them.

The game tugged at my heartstrings. There is as much sad as there is joy to be found; as much hope as there is despair. Without going into spoilers, I sympathized for the dragons, and the lizardfolks, luaghed and was greatly saddened at the losses they incurred.

I would love to see a sequel from this developer.

I want to like this game; I really do. It's a fun co-op shooter where you and three other players rob banks, escape from the the envitable police onsluaght, and reach that big payoff. However, due to the very recent spiraling of this year's Crimefest and today's Update #90, I cannot with clear and honest conscience tolerate this unwarranted and unwelcome behavior from the Overkill Team.

Crimefest 2015 introduced many things, a new jumping animation, masks, a weapons rebalancing ( which did do some good making some weapons more viable on higher difficulties, no longer any god tier weapons but made some classes like Shotguns outclassed by Pistols in DPS and range), a bipod for LMGS, a couple new hesits ( First World Bank and Sluaghterhouse from the first making a welcome return), and the thing that started the blaze Safes and Drills on Day 1 of a week long event celebrating the community around the game. The weeks leading up to a Crimefet generally involve somein game challenges the community works as a whole on. It can be complete X Hesist Y times or Kill A enemy with B weapon. Whatever challenges are completed unlock a corresponding content which have a vague clue on what it might unlock for the community.

I will start with this years Crimefest and it was very medicore and felt half-hearted. The variety in masks was not too interesting, more novelty items like a Troll Face mask. The jumping animations were made smoother but this and the LMGs getting a bipod are more of things that the game needed to have rather than be held behind a community challenge. The Aftershock hesist felt more like a slap tp the face with it's name and the gimmick of the hesist transporting the very safes that were introduced on Day 1 from one place to another. The following hesits First World Bank and Saughterhouse were two very fun maps from the first Payday. They're good maps. These I feel were just to appease the now very upset fan base.

Weapons skins are not unheard of in games, two well known cases are Team Fortres 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. In both games these are purely for cosmetic purposes and do not influnce or sway gameplay. It should be noted that these two games are alsoheavily Player v Player oriented. In Payday 2, which is 4 Player v Environment, weapons skins can granted boosts and modify the gun in such a way that you may not be able to take off certain features like a special magazine or nozzle. These boosts would certainly be game altering in a PvP mode, but here the difference is covert. A +2 here or a +1 there will go unnoticed and most likely will not alter your gameplay; however these skins were placed out of the blue in game, and the community was not asked if they wanted them. This behavior and if it continues in more Crates and Keys (Safes and Drills in PD2) will follow in this way making it more and more likely that these skins will cuase a power creep creating a much more noticeable divide between the Haves and Have Nots when it comes to skins.

With these Safes, if you open one, you will get one weapon skin for a gun, even if you do not own that gun. You will then need to buy that DLC for that gun to then use the skin you just unlocked.

There was not apology or notice that Overkill Studios was going to adress the elephant they placed in the room. According to them, this introduction was well welcomed in the community.

With Update 90, came the release of the Completley Overkill Pack. This pack cost $20 USD or roughly 15 Euros for fans whom wanted to support Overkill in Feb. during a Event called the Hype Train. Enclosed was 4 unique masks and hinted that a special non-game altering cosmetic item would be given to those supporters in the near future. Little has been told of what and when it would be released over the several months since that event. Overkill being quite hush-hush. During this Crimefest, some information became leaked that the contents of these Completely Overkill Safes were 25 different weapon skins. You would only get 1 of 25 at random. No chance to pick which weapon or skin you might want. As of today those safes were able to be opened, and the contents revealed. In my opninion most of the skins are not too applealing. Some seem pretty unique like the special Flametrhower, but most look more like a cheap spray paint and/or something just tossed a bucket of paint at a gun and whatever dried and stuck they went with. The Halo franchise has a rather lengthy history with its numerous titles, which spans over a decade since Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001. After Halo 2, the subsequent games were released only on console exclusive for the X-Box consoles. It would not be unusual, I think, for people who are primarily PC gamers to not be familar with this franchise.

This game was orginally Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 8 phone, X-Box 360, and Xbox 1 platforms in 2013. This game is a top down first person shooter, unlike the other installements of the franchise which are all First Person Shooters, with the exception of Halo Wars which is a Real Time Strategy game. To my knowledge, this would be the first Halo title released on the PC since Halo 2 since 2007. This makes it an oddity.

The game is very simple in design, as it was meant for mobile devices. Many missions can be completed in a few minutes, with only a handful of exceptions that require a little more time. This game can be completed in a couple hours, with further time for earning Gold Star ratings for each mission.

The story follows the stories of two Spartans Commander Palmer ( A familar face for those who have played Halo 4 on X-box 360) and Spartan Davis while they are stationed on a planet. During this time, there is a ceasefire between the Humans and the Covenant after the events of Halo 3. A rogue group of Covenant who have ignored the ceasefire. This puts the events of this game somewhere between the aftermath of Halo 3 and before Halo 4. While it doesn't really bridge the gap between the two, it does give a little insight into things that happened in the aftermath of the War.

The controls are fairly smooth, with a few hiccups here and there. For some reason, your character will slow down to a walk, seemingly for no reason. I noticed this after a Melee. Give it a few seconds or just fire your gun some and the character will pick back up to their normal speed. The only three keys that cannot rebound are the Left Mouse (Fire), Right Mouse ( Throw Grenade), and ESC ( Pause). The assorted Vehicles move with the same controls. For players familar with Halo the vehicles operate in the same fashion as they always have. The UNSC Grizzly & Scorpion tanks lack the smooth turning of the Covenant Ghost ahd Wraith vehicles, but make up for it in endurance.

The graphics of this game are mediocore, but that is alright. The highlight of this game is the cinematics before each mission which, for a mobile based game, are pretty good looking. I'd suggest looking them up, it may surprise you.

Missions tend to run either as one of the following or a combination: exterminate all enemies or selected units, protect a unit/location, or some sort of time limit challenge. There is not hidden tricks; this game is straight forward with what it wants you to do.

There is no Co-op feature to this version of the game on Steam, yet it does have Acheivements. Speaking of them, they are all simple with some of them relying on patience. There are a few guides out there online if you require assistance.

This game did have Microtransactions, but there are none in this version.

Each mission has a preset loudout that can be customized to a very limited degree. EXP in other installments denotes a player rank, but this game uses it as currency for one time usages for weapons, player abilites ( Armor Abilities), and boosters ( More damage, faster shield recovery, or increased point modifier). The easiest way I found to earn EXP was to perfom A-1 of the campaign with the Hollow and Pacifist Skulls on. For those not familar with Halo, skulls at as modifiers that change gameplay in someway, typically making things more challenging be it stronge enemies or only recover shield for success melee attacks. This grants a 5x multiplier to the your gains from the mission. It may take some getting used to, but you can earn 1000 exp in a little over a minute.

All and all, it is not too shabby. It is at a fair price in my opinion, but I'd suggest waiting for it to go on and save a few dollars.
