This game is for anyone who likes atleast 3 of the following

First person Combat
Crafting
Deep story line
Extremely light resource management
Exploration for resources

A really neat skill tree
Even more optional story

I can not reccomend this game enough, everything about it is amazing right up until the very end. The game starts off at easy then gets harder as you go on as you run out of resources and more enemies come your way.

Some tips to help you enjoy it
Play the game as blind as possible, lucky for you none of the suggestions below have spoilers in them.
Enable the three optional challanges at the beggining, it makes the game much more interesting and adds more mechanics into it.
If you've been playing games for a really long time, start on hard mode... Normal is easy, and remember that you can always change the difficulty level anywhere in the game.
Remember to save, not quick save, this can save yourself a lot of time if you made a decision you don't like or an NPC is accidentially killed when you're not in the room and you don't notice till the next session. (Happened to me RIGHT before the end)
Never leave resources behind, especially metal
If you have the bug where your cursor appears on screen when you alt tab or shift tab, restart your game, in order to prevent this, only shift tab or alt tab when your cursor isn't on screen (First Person).
Do every thing you wanted to do before you scan the coral, it's the point of no return for a lot of side quests as something big happens. (You'll know when)
