Totally immersive and addictive! I was a fool to ignore this game for so long owing to its MMORPG element but I stand corrected. I won't dwell into a lengthy descriptive review because this game is a MUST in any RPG lovers collection. Buy the game, play and enjoy.

The game is top notch. One of my favorites. I was initially skeptical about buying this game due to the barrage of negative reviews regarding Uplay. But then, getting the complete edition in $2 is a steal for a game of this caliber. So I went ahead and bought the game. Although I was fearful that the DRM would screw this one for me, but to my delight nothing of this sort happened. The installation went smooth. No issues with Uplay launcher, CD-keys or anything for that matter. I suppose all you need is a really good internet connection so that everything goes uninterrupted. I agree that it took around 20-30 minutes to initialize the game at first run. But it was worth the wait and now I am running the game smooth as butter. For all the fans of city building games, this is definitely a must have.


Notes :- I will explain how the installation went for me, for the reason it might help the first timers and also those who are facing issues.
1. Downloaded and installed the game on Steam. Copied the CD-key for future use.
2. Uplay took a while to download, logged in with my account.
3. The game was not in my Uplay library. So instead of activating a key in Uplay, I simply ran the game from Steam. Now a popup appeared telling me that the game will be linked to this Uplay account.
4. The autopatcher downloaded a lot of files, updating the game to the latest patch.
5. Ran the game. A pop up appeared again with "No SolidShield" written in the box. I just erased the text and typed the CD key in the given format (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx).
6. Voila! The game is activated and good to go.
