After spending around 40 hours on the game, I can say it's alright but I definitely expected A LOT more. The developers clearly aimed to blend open-world exploration with crafting, grinding, and questing mechanics, and while these elements are present, they lack the depth

The open world is definitely gorgeous, but it often feels like it's missing something. Progression leans heavily on grinding, which becomes repetitive quickly - from the start ( I am definitely NOT a fan of grinding, but for me personally it started to get annoying at mid-game - so around 30 hours of gameplay).

The main story, particularly the Trials seemed interesting at first, but then quickly became boring and lacked something interesting. They're like scattered objectives that take just a few minutes each to complete. They lack narrative weight or challenge, which makes them feel like a filler... until the last test.

The game does have potential, and as someone who loves Dune, I feel like it’s scratching the surface of something that could’ve been much more engaging. It's missing a more compelling story arc for now.

Another good thing is, after 40 hours of gameplay, I did not encounter any bugs or issues with the game, so everything was smooth.
While base building can be interesting - there are a lot of structural components that let's you really build the base from an architect point of view, I do feel like it's missing space for customization/skins/cosmetics.

So far it's 7/10.

It's a lovely, cozy game and there's no denying it. The graphics are gorgeous, there are (surprisingly) minimal bugs, that were mentioned in previous comments - the cafe mini-game, and the NPCs are adorable.

But in this state, there's not much to do besides grind, go around to collect the veggies all over again and resell them. ( AND Repeat ). There's barely any story/engaging quests. You do get some minimal side quests ( to deliver an item to an NPC, or drop-off somebody ) but there's no recording of it - at least that I'm aware of - So you LITERALLY have to write it all down.. and hunt down the NPCs because you don't know where they exactly are in the city.. and you don't know their name until you talk to them.

I'm giving it a negative review because I believe there's not much gameplay in its current state, and it's not very engaging ( and not worth 20 something bucks YET ).
I will definitely wait until they add more stuff, and change my review then.

This is both a slave and a slave master simulator.
Somebody will always try to kill you or rob you even though you didn't do ♥♥♥♥ ( every region ).
Walk and run around and be careful not to become roasted chicken ( Venge ), toxic waste water ( Deadlands ) or just food/a punching bag.
Get your ass ( and other body parts ) eaten by cannibals, or a horde of bugs and monsters *while you're alive, if you're not careful.
Befriend crabs and build an ultimate crab army and make the whole world bow down at your feet and become greater than Okran himself.

This game is brutal and unforgiving, and you might die a few times until you understand that the best way to gain a nice amount of cats is to be the ultimate COWARD - wait for guards to kill somebody and then steal and resell the belongings of a dead person. There's no shame in that.

Awesome game. Released a bit too soon.
There are a few bugs of course, but honestly not noticeable during gameplay. Devs are dedicated and fixing a bunch each week.
Some of the comments mentioned that there's bad English translation, I've only encountered that once or twice.
The game isn't that easy I'd say, and definitely isn't fast paced. You can take your time and enjoy it.
There's a lot of characters you can start with, but at the end of the day, when starting each time, you'll be going through the same things, and that might be the boring part.
Can't wait for new maps to be released!
Lovely artstyle and interesting world.
They honestly did a great job with the NPCs and they're all evolving and getting stronger as you play, as well.
All in all; Worth the monies. 8/10
