I've been playing Coral Island since the alpha stage, and it has just continued to get better and better. It's all the best parts of Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon, but with its own unique parts and beautiful music and graphics. I feel like the storylines are more diverse and paced in a way that you can choose to explore without feeling railroaded into anything. The NPCs are enjoyable and have unique personalities. I greatly appreciate that there are connonically queer and trans characters, and that I can choose my own honorifics and body type. The developers have put so much work into making the game inclusive and accessible, and it *really* shows. I've been continuously impressed with their revisions and responses to input over the last couple of years. I can't wait to see how it develops moving forwards.

My partner and I frequently play together using the local co-op. Alone, the game can be a bit challenging, but enjoyable. Together, it's a lot of fun. She prefers to manage the crafting while I manage the inn and food services. Since they updated the multiplayer so that each player has their own menu (instead of a shared one that popped up even if the other player is in the middle of something), it has made a big difference. The addition of more spaces to explore and vendors to meet has increased its enjoyability, too. I'm excited to see when they unlock the social and magic skill trees.
