very relaxing gameplay and saves me money by actually satisfying my pack ripping addiction but i can spend in game fake money vs real life money

amazing levels that take a nice chunk of time to beat, and if you want you can use the trident

10/10 could use more onions though

beautiful level design, you can use the trident, fun levels to play, and not as long and overbearing as Warhammer

i have successfully determined that god doesnt exist because no god would let this game be made

the Thunderhawk alone is worth the price of the DLC with how much time you'll spend on it, and the rest of it is pretty dang fun as well

people will rightfully get upset about achievements being paywalled and thats a valid criticism i cant excuse, but in terms of pure gameplay content this DLC is worth the price to me,

i hate this game

Does it have bugs? Yes.
Are they gamebreaking? Not really.

Overall this game is a bit short but its sweet. I 100% completed the game + achievements in 15 hours which probably got extended by an hour or so from suboptimal play, so maybe wait for a sale because I don't think this is a great buy for $60. For $40 or lower though? Absolutely.

The gunplay is phenomenal, I found myself actually using a bunch of guns for various situations rather than just getting one really good gun early and riding it until the very end.

My main knock is on the story and the pacing, the story starts out fun and the pacing is pretty standard, but midway through to about three quarters of the way through the story I found myself getting angry with cliche plots and poor attempts at humor, but once the gameplay started again I was willing to forgive some bad writing for a mostly solid story.

Characters are fun, Rivet is a welcome addition to the franchise, the throwbacks to older games are appreciated as well.

Overall a mostly solid game, probably like a 7 out of 10 on my scale. Maybe wait for a sale but overall this is still a great time.
