i love the hell out of this game! to revisit the half life world and feel like you're inside of it was incredible. the sense of scale for everything was a great experience. to see striders, headcrabs, and other beloved characters and aliens in front of me was so cool and you'd never get the same perspective from the other half life games. The AI had its problems, the headcrabs would fling themselves into objects and comically flop onto the floor, although in groups they were scarier. The combine though they were a challenge at points would often stand out in the open letting you get some easy shots and standing in place while a live grenade is right beside them. And it had its bugs yes, but it was all just minor and never game breaking from what i experienced. i played half life 2 for the first time on the xbox 360 as a kid and was hooked! To finally see a return to the world of half life and the story makes me so happy. i was worried about graphics and controls because i didn't have the index, but the game still looked beautiful on the oculus rift s. the opening scene on the roof top alone surpassed any other game i had played prior. I cant wait for valves next installment weather it be vr or not i think they'll do an amazing job. this is my first time actually reviewing a game so im sorry if its all over the place i just wanted to give the game the positive feedback it deserves
