Played SSX like many people interested by this game and it’s really the closest thing you could have, the overall feeling when you play and get used to the controls it feels incredibly familiar like you « forgot » games like these could exist and why on earth EA hasn’t revived the license.

Support this game if you have just an ounce of interest for this kind of games, we need to bring back Arcady sports games especially one that is like SSX and dearly missed.

Early Access is recent and there is clearly a lot more to come but having such a good fondation is to me the reason you should buy it even now, there will be more content and mod support in the future, for a game like that it means pretty much infinite content once it gets possible and multiplayer is gonna be amazing too !

For 7€ it’s absolutely a steal if you know how much replayability these games have (even with two maps at the moment), the dev is really active with the community and clearly knows what SSX felt and played like, in my opinion it’s the most important since games in the genre of sports tends to focus more on the realistic aspect rather than the fun you have playing them.

100% must buy !

I really think Frontier did their best with such a wide variety of player that could play the game, they really created a superb sequel addressing most of the problems we had in PC1 and even improved on them !

You may see negatives reviews for a setting someone didn’t bother to check or people not being used to this genre and some just plain don’t get it.
If you’ve been around, you know how massive of a change this sequel is, you also know they couldn’t do much with PC1 if they wanted to give us more, otherwise it may look the same as a « casual » theme park game enthusiast, but it’s truly such an improvement compared to PC1 and for future updates / DLCs that will surely make this game even more enjoyable than it is !

It looks like there is a bright future for PC2, the base game is solid and has so much more to give us I’m sure ! (There’s already some new stuff announced like load and unload stations).

They just announced water slides physics ! My only complaint is almost resolved ! Especially if they give physics to all of the water slides !

I’ll update my review if this change but at the moment I can only show love and appreciation for the devs at Frontier that gave us what we basically wanted since PC1 !

I'm not recommending the game for now, unless they remove Denuevo and add support for mods. (all solo games should be able / authorized to be modded).

Otherwise the game is a really solid RPG with some great features and some others i find terrible and outdated like the item management, absolutely terrible, it's 2024, old school or not, it's not okay to make it that tedious to transfer item from one inventory to the other. I do not understand why there are no shortcuts for that on PC or even on console for that matter.

Also, why is it not possible to switch keybinds for keyboards ??? I'm used to better from CAPCOM especially with MH.
The price is outrageous and i'm pretty sure i would love to refund this game but i'll keep it because i wanna trust CAPCOM with this game and let them correct the direction.
I will not buy MH Wilds if this game does not recieve proper updates and optimization for sure. At least i won't buy the next MH until it's on hard sale.

Literally a missed oppurtunity and the damage control is gonna have to be insane from CAPCOM because many companies are finally getting what they deserve, especially Ubisoft who pulled the last string from everybody with Skull and Bones and i cannot believe CAPCOM let this mess of an UI / bad decisions with their player base knowing what they were waiting for, like modding the game, is beyond ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

And again, GET RID OF DENUEVO AND LET MODDERS DO THEIR THING ! Nobody is gonna buy your game anyways if it's bad and poorly optimized.
We trust you CAPCOM, don't let us down, the game is really great and do not need much to be enjoyable, don't miss that chance to grow your player base once again.

The Art style is what impressed me at first, not knowing anything about the GBF series, then the gameplay made me addicted to the game !

It’s not usual that a game has this many good features / content AND no bugs at all (in my experience).
The only games I could compare it is a mix of Genshin Impact (because of the character based gameplay) and Monster Hunter (for the way the endgame / missions works).

If you are questioning buying this game, don’t, it is really a statement in this day and age that a game can be good without all the BS so many companies makes us deal with by forcing their shady micro transactions and lack of content.
Simply put, you play the game to have fun and you do not feel obligated to play due to a season / battle pass or whatever the reason could be.

Also I need to mention the UI, it may be the best I’ve ever seen in a game and SO easy to use and readable, I feel like that’s a huge problem when it comes to JRPG’s / RPG’s.

The game is inspiring, not overly cringe compared to some anime games, absolutely worth your time if you want a game filled with of action and epicness !

10/10 as said at the start, you can’t be disappointed by this game in my opinion 🙂

Points forts :

• Le jeu propose beaucoup de "générations" de carte et de duels tirés de l'anime, le plus gros point fort à mes yeux car ça donne une large ouverture sur le nombre de decks possible et le nombre de duels faisable en solo / online
  
• Vous aurez la possibilité de jouer pleins de decks / cartes et apprendre leurs mécaniques sur le tas durant la campagne solo qui ne vous demande pas d'avoir / créer de deck
  
• PAS DE MICRO TRANSACTIONS ! Seulement le jeu qui vous demande de jouer pour débloquer de la monnaie in-game que vous gagnez même si vous perdez
  
• Une progression très approchable pour un débutant
  
• Des tutoriels qui expliquent très bien les mécaniques de jeu que vous devez connaître
  
• Un online ou vous pouvez affrontez d'autres joueurs mais le mieux, possibilité de vous défiez en duel avec vos amis !
  
• Un contenu très large pour un jeu que vous pouvez obtenir pour 6€ sur un site comme instant gaming etc...
  
• Un effort sur certaines animations de carte et pas mal d'arènes sympas !
  
• De loin le meilleur jeu de carte auquel j'ai joué et qui le sera beaucoup plus une fois que moi et mes amis on pourra se faire des decks et s'affronter :p C'est un must buy à mes yeux en solo ou pour jouer avec des potes

• L'ATH est absolument naze mais fait clairement le job correctement
  
• Il n'y a aucun moyen de pouvoir voir un log des cartes jouées / actions passées au court de la partie et les IA vont à la vitesse de la lumière, si vous ne connaissez pas les cartes et leurs effets, bah soit vous pouvez lire la carte après coup, soit vous devez vous débrouiller pour la trouver
  
• Les monstres ne sont pas fait en 3D ou représentés sur le terrain mis à part la forme carte et animations qui deviennent redondantes au bout d'un moment
  
• Malgré une approche facile pour n'importe qui, les duels sont parfois ridiculement liés à la chance de votre tirage de carte et si vous avez la main avant votre adversaire IA, mais c'est très instructif dans un sens ou perdre vous montre les mécaniques d'une bonne main même si c'est celle de votre ennemi ! Mon conseil, n'abandonnez pas, regardez et apprenez !
  
• Tester d'autres builds, c'est malheureusement difficile si c'est en dehors du mode campagne, dans ce cas il vous faudra avoir toutes les cartes d'un deck pré-fait sinon il ne sera pas complet, vous devez donc les drop un peu par chance dans les packs que vous achetez en jeu (gratuitement) avec la monnaie du jeu. C'est pas vraiment négatif car ça donne un but de jouer / rejouer mais c'est frustrant si une carte que vous voulez ne drop pas tout de suite.
  
• Le prix du jeu est absolument faramineux pour le peu d'effort qu'il y a dans l'aspect graphique, j'aurais préféré plus d'arènes / de monstres en 3D sur le terrain que des animations 3D à chaque fois qu'elles sont invoquées
  
  
  
  Conclusion
  
  Le jeu est vraiment très bon, très simple, il marche et donne ce qu'il devrait donner en tant que jeu de carte sauf la possibilité de suivre ce qu'il se passe sur le terrain si les actions s'enchaines et que vous ne connaissez pas les cartes.
  Il reste néanmoins totalement charmant et fonctionne juste super bien et vous apprendra aussi le nécessaire si comme moi vous ne vous rendiez pas compte de l'évolution de la série / des différentes façons de jouer et de la possibilité de decks pouvant être très fun avec la campagne solo qui permet d'en tester beaucoup !
  Si vous le trouvez moins chère ailleurs il vaut total le coup, à 40€ vous devriez attendre un réduc' steam.
  Meilleur jeu de carte auquel j'ai joué, j'ai hâte de faire des matchs avec mes amis !

This game is awesome !
In short you should try it and complete ALL the licenses and maybe check the videos of DonutKR on YouTube to know a bit more about drift mechanics and overall have a better time at learning the game.

It's really a shame the first impression is not more impactful yet far better than a mario kart in some ways...
I was able to play this game during beta and did not properly understand the drift mechanic in this game.
I played a lot of kart racing game but to me Kartrider really have it's own style and i did not know of the popularity and e-sport scene there was behind it !

It's a really great Kart racer but it won't be the craziest one too and i can apreciate that because of the adjustments you have to make on the spot when racing.
I would say you can play the game fine as a free to play player. It just requires you to play and focus on one kart to get the "upgrades" that are buyable with in game money.
You can have almost anything with in game money, only some skins and cosmetics or whatever are unlockable with real money and you should not care if you don't plan to invest money on this game.

I would give a solid 9/10 for this game, not 10 for the only reason the game could be as popular as MK if Nexon did some marketing around the e-sport scene or promoting the game and also because there is some huge visual lags sometimes in races and it can sometimes be distracting so yeah ... Not a real big issue but i have to mention it.

Honestly tough this was going to be another janky F2P and i was REALLY wrong.

This is by far the most fun i've had on a multiplayer game in a LONG time ! It feels really skilled based at the moment and i haven't had too much "bad" experiences with random people.
I did not go far into ranked (5 matches at most) and it was okay...
Not gonna lie, i would really appreciate a party finder (Heroes of the Storm got an awesome one where anyone can invite you if you put yourself in "LFG" mode) and i would really appreciate that so you can check people out before inviting them :)

What about the game ?

Fun, casually played it's awesome, playing for the win feels awesome and sometimes games can be seriously intense ! Everything needed for a good adrenaline rush without being too long to rage or be frustrated too much.
I haven't seen many characters being "OP" or abused but one thing in particular i hate it's that rocket little girl with her ultimate .... Complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my opinion and way too large for how much damage / push it got. But it's just my opinion and do remember, i haven't seen anyone abusing this too since the cooldown is really fair on it (60 sec).

Visually incredible, i don't like anime styled game (for the most part) but hen it's done with taste and not abusing on weeb elements like every voice actress feeling under aged and saying stupid ♥♥♥♥ that sound too sexual with a cliché tone.
Here it's just enough i would say even if i saw some creepy reviews about Juno the slime girl (You guys are weird and should be locked up wtf).

Still on the visual part, i would love the menu in the futur to be animated / change with diffrent arenas that will be available too. It's quite nothing but i love a changing "Lobby" / "Party screen" that can change.
Would be cool to have a better menu too .... Sorry to say it, it feels way too mobile for me at the moment and looks straight up like Pokemon Unite. (That's also why you should mix it up in the background just so we have other thing to see / other ambiance music etc ...) It's a really nice thing i like in games you partially pass time waiting looking at these backgrounds.

Now the juicy part,
the gameplay is phenomenal !
It feels like i'm back in 2010 playing some random games i found online by curiosity and getting slowly addicted the more i play it !
GREAT job and the feeling of this game ! The skill is important for sure and you need to learn how to be offesive as well as smartly moving around !
Not gonna lie, if you try to go for the goal all the time, there is a good chance your goalie is gonna have a bad time. You can combo of your team mates pass like a soccer game but the way it works and how you can change the speed / the direction is enough to make it intense because of how well the movement is done in this game ! It might take inspirations but i do love the fresh feeling of playing the way this game did it !
There is many ways i've seen the gameplay change in a second because of someone's ability being well timed or somebody reaping you apart because you didn't pay attention to where you were etc .... It's all really viceral and fluid i LOVE it !
One thing that i suppose they will eventually think of is effects in the way the "ball" moves and that's something i would love not to see pleaaaaaase. The ball going straight and fast is enough in my opinion.
It's really hard to make a GOOD competitive game right from the start and that can also appeal to the casual gamer like me.

I'll be practicing and playing this game for sure !
Hope more people will give a chance to this gem !
And i hope the devs continue their good work ! Please more maps and backgrounds for party screen / waiting room <3 I love the art style and the feeling of the game !

Fun mais absolument pas equilibré dans certains duo c'est absolument terrible.
Après c'est une META comme dans tous les jeux et c'est malgré tout très chiant dans certains cas.

Je recommande pas spécialement le jeu pour ça d'ailleurs. C'est un smash et il faut aimer ce genre de jeux et c'est vraiment très beau et super intéressant la mécanique. Mais je n'accroche simplement pas avec la meta qui rend les games infames ou peut être les persos pas trop equilibré ? Les duos pas forcément bons contre d'autres ?
C'est pas un reproche en tout cas mais si vous avez un ami avec qui jouer, FONCER ! Je ne recommande pas aux joueurs solo à moins de trouver un mate plus tard et j'espere ça sera mon cas pour changer mon avis sur le jeu.

J'ai absolument adoré !
Les gens qui vont se plaindre de certaines choses comme les contrôles c'est bien dommage parce que personnellement je n'ai eu aucun soucis avec la praticité de la mécanique bien au contraire c'était relaxant.

Que dire....

Pour un premier jeu ça claque, l'histoire est phénoménale, moi qui ne joue pas beaucoup à des jeux d'histoires (aller voir mes jeux) le seul que je pourrais comparer à celui-ci c'est Portal / Portal 2.
Cet effet de solitude, d'inconnu et pourtant si entouré est le même que j'ai ressentis dans Portal et Stray.

En amont de l'objectif principale (retrouver NOTRE troupe), l'univers se dévoile à peine la patte posé dans ces lieux très hostiles et inconnus.
Une métaphore absolument incroyable sur la condition humaine dans le futur avec de l'humanité et de l'espoir...
Je ne sais pas quoi dire mis à part bravo pour cet univers si attachant, tellement troublant et brut en même temps.
Bien que le jeu semble court il m'a offert un bol d'air frais, une vraie histoire avec un concept original et pas seulement à cause du chat bien que, bravo aussi aux devs pour l'impression de RP en tant que chat j'ai adoré m'endormir au côté du guitariste à qui j'ai donné mes partitions pour les jouer en boucle.

Le soundtrack est pour moi l'un des plus incroyable que j'ai entendu depuis longtemps ! Pas intrusif ni "cliché" juste parfait pour ce jeu, cet univers, ces oppositions permanentes entre la sécurité, l'inconnu et le danger.
Par moment je ne pouvais simplement plus bouger et j'étais en immersion total dans le jeu à me promener et embêté les résidents des lieux haha.

Sans rire c'est une claque monumentale que de voir l'histoire se dérouler devant nous car oui en tant que chat vous aurez des interactions mais c'est dans le fait d'être témoins de ces réactions en chaines que vous causées que l'histoire avancera et c'est une très grande réussite.

Bref vous l'avez compris j'ai adorer j'en redemande et je souhaite de tout coeur que ce studio fleurisse et nous offre des expériences uniques comme celle-ci !

La fin m'a absolument fait craquer et j'étais abasourdis par la résolution si épique avec le soleil que l'on voit peut à peut voir au moment de l'ouverture de la ville puis notre amis B12 qui vivra à jamais dans la mémoire de ce petit être qui va enfin retrouver les siens ... Juste incroyable, j'aurais aimé vraiment au moins une confirmation du retour auprès de sa meute mais je suis content de savoir qu'il s'en soit sorti et qu'il puisse être une âme libre et un testament de la volonté des éxterioristes <3

First time i heard about this series, the trailers were amazing and i decided to give it a try.

Absolute gem right there !
From the art style to the music an the addictive gameplay, oh my god, i'm hooked !

Just buy this game if you like "easy" to pick up and hard to master style of game.

Again an aboslute gem and the music, can we have more mix please ? MORE MUSIC <3 They are incredible too ! Favourite so far is Adam Swim - Can't Sleep :)
