I enjoy DontNod games quite a bit and actually played the demo before the full release. This game has certainly surpassed my expectations, introducing concepts I hadn’t even considered. I, of course, had to buy the full release. Since then, this game has surpassed my expectations, introducing even more mechanics. Not to mention the notes that hint at the past—without revealing too much—that keep you playing. I also love games that reward you for exploration with hidden altars and notes, versus linear games that really only give you one path. I never thought I’d enjoy a game essentially about climbing this much, but DontNod has done it again!

I'm a few hours in and have fallen in love with this game. It's straightforward enough so you aren't spending half the time remembering complex controls, but has enough elements to hold my interest for hours! I haven't played a game for this long of a period since Stardew Valley. The only thing I wish this game had was Multiplayer. I can picture my friends and I traversing the seas, discovering dark secrets together (as we have with Raft before). Maybe one day. Otherwise, I'll be playing this game for some time to come.
