Nice game, but PC Steam is borked with accepting friend requests in game. Everything has to be done via Discord, which is a very poor way of finding other players in my opinion.

Not going to recommend until they've fixed it. Its meant to be an Online Co-Op, but with this bug its an Online sitting off in Discord because the game has broken feature....

After waiting 5 minutes for the bloody tutorial dialogue to finish so I could actually begin moving my ship, I closed the game.
No voice acting choice kills it, sat round doing nothing while I wait for the text to be updated isn't fun at all.

Dont waste your time or money. Unfortunately for me I hadn't bought this off Steam so cannot refund.

Doesnt work at all for me, I played the Tutorial so I could learn how to play the game but the Tutorial is poor, the worse I've ever seen in a game in fact. The dev(s) posted a how to play guide that had links to YouTube video - WTF is the point in having a tutorial in the game?
Doesn't seem to be active either...
Can't recommend until they fix the game into something that resembles a workable game fresh out of the box. Wasted time and money on this, dont waste yours.

Do you like being killed repeatedly in your own HQ because people like to camp killing spawners?
Do you like the enemy raping your vehicles despite no one being in them at your HQ?
Do you fantasy weapons?
Do you like having to restart the game constantly because of shiddy bugs?
Do you like having to listen to drivel at the end of each game such as whistling down the mic or someones TV blasting down your ears?
Do you like football stars having their own skin despite having nothing to do with the game?
Do you like gay pride flags?
Do you like pointless mods?
Do you like poor map creation?
Do you like players not playing the objective despite there being lots of modes that is basically TDM?

If so then buy this game and drill out your own eyeballs today!

Nice little RTS this, with an interesting take on how you acquire units. There are no infantry, as in on foot, soldiers which I am normally used to. Instead, this game focuses on a wider world which is too massive to do by foot and the desert heat making your usual infantry forces obsolete. Think more along the lines of Mad Max, rather than Command and Conquer.
I hope that they revisit this game sometime in the future, on a different world. Such as Star Wars' planet "Hoth" for example, an ice world which would bring its own problems to any battlefield commander.
I think the closest thing related to this game would be Dune - the planet is very inhospitable and there are very limited resources.

The air power in this game is pretty awesome I've got to say. These will basically ensure that you survive. Missile strikes are a nice addition to what you have to fight the enemy. There are defensive towers for you to help secure areas, and the different types of units are pretty awesome. Tanks are good at destroying your sort of Humvee units, and tanks are countered by Rail Gun tanks - which are countered by missile launchers and your basic Humvee - speed matters apparently!

The campaign itself is pretty interesting too. You're not stuck to one area in the game, Red Alert for example, has you fighting over Europe. Tiberium Dawn has you fighting over Eastern Europe and Africa - depending on the faction you play. Where as Homeworld: DoK has you fighting towards a single end game objective, with your forces moving across the planet.
Rather than building a new army and base each mission, your forces carry over which I've always wanted. Your main command unit is one huge aircraft carrier, but on wheels! You can set the units overall stance to be offensive, defensive and support stances through selecting (or rerouting power in this case) to help improve firepower, armour, range and so on, of your main carrier.
Storyline, the game is pretty cool. There is a lack of factions to play, which is kind of annoying for players like me who like to see both sides of the story and having different ideas towards weaponry and objectives. Despite only having the one playable faction, the story moves at a good pace and there isn't a load of different things to get mixed up with.
Also there are super weapons - which is always a good laugh! And despite having access, does not mean you will win the battle.
Future releases of Homeworld are sure to be checked out, this is my first but I've enjoyed every minute of it. I do hope to see more from these, and I hope that they expand on it further. Apparently Homeworld is a series which usually focuses on Space, fighting over a few planets or the galaxy. I would like to see more fighting on a planets surface, but I would like to play Space battles too. It' just a hope of mine, despite RTS being called a dying genre - with games like this is bloody well isn't dying at all!
All in all, this is a pretty solid 8/10
Factions
Planet/continent or whatever variation - different environments to battle in
Base building (if fighting on a planet) and if set in space, then battleship improvements
Environment having more effect on your units - the planet is HOT, but doesn't really show other than having sand everywhere and none of your usual RTS infantry. Maybe sandstorms could slow down units, or ground your air units during? (C&C Tiberium Sun had this awesome effect, whenever there was a Ion storm - your radar would go offline and air units could be struck by lightning, and hover units would ground, making them unmoveable)
Great game! Literally can't think of anything that was wrong. 8/10 with the last 2 being preferences rather than genuine game issues.

Great game, but is a bit of a shock coming from Witcher 3 as it is not as much open world and the different in UI, crafting, bags etc.
Once modded I'm sure you can make it feel better and more along the lines of Witcher 3.

Fantastic addition to the series!

Warhammer 3 TW is a lot different than the previous two titles, players and the AI race against one another in order to obtain a certain item, which there are four, and this objective leads you into the Realms of Chaos where you will face your demons.
The game has a Prologue where new players and veterans discover the story behind Warhammer 3 TW and introduces you to Kislev and the harshness of the barren Chaos Wastes.

Sieges have finally been fixed! Attacking and defending settlements is a lot different than previous titles, and has returned to elements found in the historic TW games with barriers and towers which you/AI can build to funnel the enemy into killzones and slow down the overall attack. Expect casualties.

The game looks fantastic in itself, the world is beautiful and the models in every unit look fantastic. That being said, I'm looking forward to Hooveric's reskin mod as his hard work will add to the game's awesome look!
Mods Mods Mods Mods - the community has built some fantastic mods over the years in Warhammer TW and is something that I would recommend. It can be large overhauls like Xoudad's Empire and High Elves mods, new skills for lords and heroes or basic stuff such as removing heavy armour from Warp Throwers (damn their eyes!)

Mortal Empires will eventually arrive which I cannot wait for as I'm a Mousillon / Vampire Counts player and I want to have a go at the Chaos Demons but fail miserably...

Yes the game had a few bugs/glitches on release, which is to be expected and then there's the Chinese review bombing that took place, so the game is very much under-rated at the moment but I can promise Warhammer 3 TW will have you stuck at your computer for weeks! (or if you're like me, for years because you've started the campaign for the 39772893th time)

Definitely buy this game, it's worth it.

This is THE shooter of 2020. Ok, it's still in development? I think that's what you call it which means you WILL encounter bugs and crashes. I've had a good few, but the devs wouldn't know about it if they weren't told so it's part of helping out and the reward is an amazing game jam packed with action, & a slight insight to what our boys went through during WW2. There's no kill notification, no health bars you can easily see, hardly any hud if at all so you need to keep an eye on your ammo. When you do get a kill, you're unsure. You will be looking and firing a few rounds whilst he's been dead for five minutes but do you run straight over to them after killing them? No, there's probably a whole regiment behind him. No, you do go in, but through the side alleys, through the crops & ditches. There's no auto pick up ammo so be thoughtful of how many rounds you waste & no sidearm on certain classes. You will create spawn zones for your squad to reinforce you & you will try very, very hard not to die. I cannot guarantee you will survive, but one thing I can guarantee is that you will love every second of this game.
It's not a CoD, nor a MoH or BF. It's quite far from it other than point the shooty end at the nasty people. You will need to work as a group, sometimes your squad will get split up so you will need to work with that other group, Dog & Easy to get through the enemies choke points. You will also need to avoid bunching up as I can guarantee that if the enemy commander is an effective instrument of war, then you'll soon be saying hello to his/her side's artillery.

Hell Let Loose is what a game should look like, something that isn't a cash cow, something that is so much fun (once you realise what button is for what & amphibious landings are not fun) with you saying 1 more match for the next century & something that isn't as simple as point & shoot.
If you want fast pace with speedy kills then this isn't the game you're looking for, it's teamwork at it's best: High reward. For each section/base/whatever you call them is a huge loss to the enemy, push & don't give up. You will get told by your squad leader, your commander & your team mates to keep pushing - I almost felt like I was giving birth with the number of times I was told you push! I ended up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself instead...

I don't know the maps really, they're too big to know section by section, maybe I'll learn with time but 6 hours into the game & I already feel like I should quit my job.
I cannot wait to level up my (classes)* -- not sure what you'd call em. You're kinder stuck with that gun until level whatever, in each class and there's quite a few. It's also capped so you won't be seeing the whole team as a medic with a Thompson submachine gun (I'm looking at you BF:V players!!!) :P
2 Snipers & I think 1 is a spotter. Armoured vehicles like tanks have a crew of 3, with 1 reloading the gun & 1 guy saying "SHOOT THE BLOODY GOAT LOVING BASTARD"

Can you see where I'm going here? It's a team player game, yes some will run off to do their own thing & die about 10 times before realising moving with the squad is a lot more safer. It's a fantastic game, I rarely say this about games I've only played for this amount of time, seriously buy it & support it's development & enjoy this piece of art they created.

Finally a game where a machine gun actually feels like the Wind of Death as they were. This is what games should be, not those cash cow ingame store pay pay pay games realised by a certain industry murderer .....cough...cough.....Activision....cough...cough

I'll probably regret writing that last paragraph as the agents of EA bush down my front door.

I can't put words to how happy I am with this game. I was completely taken by surprise at the graphics being updated, I had been expecting just a few tweaks to the original but generally pretty much the same experience. You are notified on screen to hit a key and bam! There it was, my favourite game ever was immediately transformed into something much more satisfying to most players. It was not just pretty, but a much welcomed & fantastic quality graphic improvement.
I had been a C&C fan since release of the first game, me & a friend used to sneak into his father's pc room as children during the summer holidays and smash out a good few levels on both NOD & GDI almost every day for 6 weeks before returning to school & dreaming about the next set of school holidays so that we could get back on the game.
These were the days that I will often look back with a smile, it was completely fun. Fun, even though we hadn't read the instructions booklet so had NO idea what the MCV was or how to use it. We slowly but surely crush our enemies under our fat tracks, we showed the enemy as we ruthlessly crushed about 5 enemy infantry before we blew up.
Eventually we discovered how to use the vehicle properly & in fact it was not much of a tank but a construction yard to build a base with & THEN....more troops!!!! Our days were dramatically changed, we'd mess up the mission & restart, back & forth until we completed that mission, moving onto the next & repeating the same method.
Minutes turned into hours, hours into days, weeks, months & then it turned out that years have past. His father had not purchased Red Alert on release, but was my father who had got his hands on a copy & passed it to me amongst many other games with the massive collection of CD Roms. My next encounter in the C&C series continued, but turned out that I had missed addons for the original game but no matter, I had this now. Just like the original I spent most days slowly getting through the campaign but this time I had got the addons & the game got even more fun.

Now it's 2020, Westwood Studios no longer exists but that does not mean Kane is dead. His legacy continues in this master piece of a remastered collection. I wasn't expecting RA1 to come out together as part of a collection along with the addons for both games and even workshop was open for the modding community to produce masterpiece maps and possibly units, new effects, money and more fun.

One thing in the game that wasn't the missions or units was the soundtrack that I kinder looked forward to more than actually playing the game again, even though I had the messed Origin version. But O M G the soundtrack is amazing!!! I had listened to it many times on YouTube but even this wasn't left completely like the original. It had been revamped, new technology that brought the music out of 90's disco electronic house to something that was perfect for 2020. Yeah ok, it won't be hitting any of the popular music charts but they still rock like they did in the past. I still get the hair on my arms standing up to tracks like Hell March, Act on Instinct and my fav, Just Do It Up. A perfect track list that beats anything to play along while you wipe out your enemies.

The missions are all there in full, impressive units to destroy your enemies but also buildings to support you as you develop your battle plan have been remastered also. No longer blotchy, lack of enough pixels to treat your eyes to. Thankfully the route didn't follow the comic book graphics of C&C Generals, C&C3 and RA3. These actually look closer to their relatives in the real world. Humvee and Abrams looking like the beasts that they are. Talking about beasts, I haven't even got to the Mammoth Tank yet! NOD also looking fantastic too, the attack buggy looks like the low funded raiding machine that it is. The light tank appears to be something that can punch a hole in GDI's lines without completely changing the unit's entity. Basic, cheap(ish) but effective to do the job. Lastly even infantry got their makeover but doesn't go anywhere near to the squad based unit that happened in C&C3 or the Military Muscle Men toys in Red Alert 2.
Inbetween missions you will be briefed by Seth, General Sheppard or even Kane but this time it's not ruined by blocks of pixels that struggle to make out an eye. These clips have been improved to be more clear, sound is crisp and refreshing and all done without having to develop the Chronosphere to go back in time with your HD cell phone (mobile in my native Britain) busting into Westwood Studios and fighting with security long enough to understand what Kane's right hand man"Just" Seth had said.

I've never been a fan of remastered games nor films, and as the date came closer I was a bit nervous after ActivisionBlizzard effing up Warcraft's release. I worried about in game stores that offered 3 different sets of Kane's forehead or unlocking the next mission from purchase of ingame currency. But alas, I was wrong to worry. There's nothing like that. I can't even imagine where such a thing would go nor what they could sell. Which is refreshing after many good games that were continued in a series being ruined by such stores.

My only disappointment was the CGI (not GDI :P ) being updated and having some really up to date between mission scenes being shown in an updated fashion. Not that it mattered, the CGI was pretty good back in the day considering 1995 was poop for graphics, there was no 4k 1080 HD n whatever. These were games that were good, not just look good. This was back when you would pay $50 for a pc game, and another $30 per addon and got a full game and not some reskin (I actually made myself lol here) of the previous title, we won't need to wait to be able to use the workshop or have online matches!

Finally I'm going to say what I think of this game.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME OF 2020. By far, and I'm being serious. I completely believe this. It's so great to play these 2 titles again without struggling to get either of the buggers to work!! (Origin / EA Version)

Graphics 12/10 - more than I was expecting
Soundtrack 12/10 certainly better than anything Beiber could make
Value 10/10 two games and their dlcs for £18 - wow!
Extra content is a bit....errrr...yeah it's good, not worth bragging about but still good.
Workshop? 20/10 - my fractions study severely lacked concentration here but I will admit it, modders often make a game 10 times better than vanilla....Sooner or later.....time will tell.
