This game is incredible. I purchased it a few months back (I think) and it was a little less developed than I expected. I think I bought it on multiplayer release because a couple of friends had it, but ended up not really touching it much. Weeks and months go buy and lots of updates are brought out, and wow. This game really impresses me. Without spoiling anything, there's a lot more to it than meets the eye, and it is by far my one of my favourite survival games/games in general. For a game in Alpha the gameplay is enough to keep surprising me and keep me coming back, but you learn enough to make you feel like an acomplished survivor. Even after establishing ways to survive againts the merciless cannibals, there are other creatures who pop up when you least expect, that keep you on your toes. The one thing I find quite annoying about this game is the amount of bugs (but hey, it's still in Alpha) So if bugs really tick you off, maybe wait a while or buy in a sale.

-Graphics
-Runs smooth
-Survival gameplay, tough, keeps you looking for tricks to keep you alive. (Difficulty settings available)
-Audio, fantastic ambient sounds, quite eerie, sets the atmosphere well
-Base/Shelter building is very customizable (and I'm sure even more will be added in the future)
-Fantastic secrets/hidden elements that really make it stand out from other survival games
-Creative mode!

Cons:

-Bugs, quite a few gamebreakers unfortunately (Falling through the world, crashing upon save etc. although I have found it only in multiplayer so far)
-Animations (only a small thing)
-Playing with others causes a few issues, player collision can lead to being stuck for a while
