Have loved DQ since I was a kid, they will always be something that makes me happy to own and collect as they are to play. The series is a true masterpiece by the creators as a gift to the world to unplug and tap into their inner youth in a world of monsters and fantasy, as always 10/10.

This honestly feels like driving, mapping the buttons to my keyboard vs a full controller setup has been a challenge but downshifting into a corner and flinging out of it with the right up shift is just so satisfying.

From running old rally cars from the 60's to driving hill climbing beats from the 2000's this game is just a blast to cruise through on campaign and the online is even more of a thrill rush.

Takes me right back to 2005 to a very sweaty gamecube controller and a half beaten game, like a sandwich finished in a likewise manner it quickly gets moldy and tossed out of the fridge, put simply the one game I always wish 10 year old little me had had the nerve to bring to completion.

A true gem of a game, initially disturbed by the adaptions of the controller scheme, my frustration faded away into adaption in the first 2 hours, A giant salamander and Gollum on steroids later and I am swinging through the map like Tarzan on aderall, popping dropping and locking anything with a bug in its head.
