I have played this game about halfway through twice now.

Elden Ring has one of the largest game maps ever made. if you like open world games, there is a lot to unpack.

This is the grandest souls-like game untill now.

I think the game could have done with a slightly smaller map, to condense the amount of enemies and interesting stuff.

***SPOILERS***

the game features a few sort of structures, some of them are caves, catacombs and mines.

these basically feature as the sort of reward that you get for exploring the world. the sad part is, most of these structures only feature one or two enemies in the whole dungeon.

there is also a lot of rehashing of enemies in the game, i have fought multiple bosses that are excactly the same, but just on different places on the map.

The main (story line structures) are designed really well and are fun. The character controls great.

The combat can be quite repetetive imo due to some issues i have:

no passive poise = fast weapons > slower weapons
strong attacks dont or get a small amount of extra poise

all in all this game does dissapoint me in the scale. the game is not consistent with its quality in all the areas. a bigger map should still be good with its quality.

even though i myself am not very fond of this game, please give it a try yourself. i will still recommend the game for sure, since i think a lot of people will like it.

This game paints a realistic issue about depression, a very refined experience

This game is a really cool dungeon crawler with many strategic aspects and no redicilous pay to win implements, one of my favorite free to play games, by far

This game, is not recommended to be purchased, yet only if they do not update it

the makers of the darksouls franchise published this game as the last of the series, however i think that the first of the series is still the best game.

I like this game, unlike the many others

My favorite Game, 10/10
