UNORIGINIAL M&B NW 2 PLACEHOLDER TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK WITH A GAME THAT WILL DIE AS SOON AS BANNERLORD RELEASES.
I was excited and then bitterly dissapointed. Everything that could make this game special is just taken from mount and blade napoleonic wars, apart from with only a fraction of a percent of the depth. Having dull skirmishes that reward the meek firing from a distance on bland maps.... If you want the bands and the cheers and the rushing a breach like and absolute madman with your bayonet along with 12 other players inspired by your bravery bayonetting 3 defenders before you yourself are brought down, if you want to fight alongside players that actually 'get stuck in' and have off the cuff melee charges and pushes i would strongly advise on saving the money on this unoriginal M&B NW 2 placeholder that is trying to make a buck before it dies as soon as bannerlords dlc comes out. Its a pretty game and satisfying when you get a kill but after ten minutes of hanging back you then get involved in the MOST horrifically clunky melee combat, anyone who has played mount and blade will feel like they are fighting in a vat of tar compared to the occasionally epic melee fights full of parrys and fluid movement and maybe a chamber or two if your good enough! For gods sake go an buy mount and blade a truly wonderful and well balanced game with melee like no other. It has a skilled player base in melee but stick with it and experience the simple beauty.
