Easily becoming one of my favorite simulations, coming from a long lineup of SimCity and Civ fav's. The game is extremely addictive and will consume you. Especially if you are constantly enhancing your game play experience with the many thousands of mods available and still being developed on the active workshop shop.

The DLC's should have been part of the game and only a few are worthwhile when you can get them on sale, but be warned that the more you add, the more ram you will need. I had to add another 32gb to my all ready beefy Ryzen system build, in order to handle the last 3 DLC's I purchased, 2 of which I initially regretted, until I was ready to use them for my city builds.

Learn to manage your traffic first, before you add them to an existing game and don't add too many at once. You'll miss too much of what learning how to play this game is all about. I can't see myself buying anymore as they add very little, unless they add the regional style to your build. They do change the experience with a few additional challenges and assets, but really come up short and miss on the content.

If it wasn't for the amazing talents and contributions of the active modding community. This game wouldn't have survived all these years. The mod community made this game what it should have been all along, and what it has become today. A fantastic game, with added realism and long lasting play-ability.

The game itself is well worth it if you can wait for the sales. I doubt there will ever be a Cities_Skylines 2, unless it comes out supporting the mods's of this amazingly talented community.

After figuring out how to turn on the radio, this is actually my favorite station.

I've been gaming for over 25 years and after less than two hours of playing this game, I can say this ranks in the top 5 of the worst games I've ever played and I don't recall the 4 other worst. Even getting this on sale for $5.00 or whatever, was money poorly spent.

Game no longer compatible with latest Windows 10 maintenance updates. Joshua.exe crashes shortly after intro sequence and loading of game files. Windows troubleshooting results in describing program as incompatible with Windows 10
