it starts out great but completely collapses in the later levels, the difficulty ramping up to unplayable levels
there are also several objectively bad design oversights that render the final levels completely unfun and outright unfair
the engine as well is poorly optimized and the controls feel like a sonic fangame (you know)
oh and dont even mention the horrible writing this game has
the only good thing this game has is the soundtrack just skip it, watch a longplay on youtube, get the ost, but avoid the game, this sold poorly for a reason

6/10 There are other games worth your attention over this. But if you have played everything else, I guess this can do.
The controls are bad but can be made different kind of bad that is... less bad? if you dont mind over shooting your targets as oppossed to undershooting with the disable smooth turning feature.

The game obscures the story and ending behind collectables that are also obscured. We call this a regressive padding trait of games from an outdated time. Bad. Bad design.

The game is also very short but the repetitive sound and gameplay design of collecting hundreds of cranes per level is just tiring and annoying after the 3rd time around. It doesnt hold up.

It seems like it would be made for completionists but theres nothing to earn for it. Just some worthless p ranks, you unlock everything after beeting the game anyway. and as for the ending? save your self some time and look it up on youtube.
Spoiler alert, its not worth it.

I can see other people liking this game, but I was just a slog to get through and i blame the collect-a-thon padding for this. If they had removed this, fixed some persective issues with the level design and actually had a story to tell that wasnt obscured, this would have been a 7.5-8. As-is. Just play any other 3d platformer.

Boring and repetitive combat.
Unimmersive world and story.
Poor game performance.
Just more slop.

I just wanted to jump into a 50 player bmx race.
I just wanted to go skiing.
I did not want to talk to tryhard "how do you do fellow kids." millineals.
I did not want to listen to the worst of the cultural rot they call music.
I did not want to have wasted over an hour of my life.
I DID however crack a chuckle at ubisofts stock price.

Online comes with free anti foss spyware.
Freedom lovers look elsewhere.

Missing sound effects, missing combat feedback, missing graphics, missing optimisation, missing voice acting talent.
The production value is simple too poor to make this kind of game work.
Using unreal engine 4 was also a bad idea. The graphics look completely uninspired and aliased as a result.

A doom eternal rogue like with borderlands style art direction, minus the soy.

This game proves the industry is not dead. Just currently being ridden by big budget cancer.

What was the point of this game?
