The Halo games may be a bit of an unbalanced experience, but they’re still good for a very casual time. Also, bring your chumps. It’ll be much better.

Pros:
-Some of the most renown shooters to have come out in the past two decades all bundled into one fantastic bundle on the platform it always belonged to.
-Six older games for the price of a new game.
-Doesn’t include Halo 5.
-Full modding support and a Steam Workshop for ease of use.
-Limited cross play.
-Some of the most memorable campaigns put to screen.
-PVP is more evocative of simpler times.
-Good customization options.
-Marty O’Donnell’s best of.

Cons:
-may be somewhat biased coming from CoD to Halo first. Campaign balancing leaves much to be desired. The weapon sandboxes, enemy designs, and level designs haven’t aged too well when you put them under tougher scrutiny. Looking at you, Halo 2.
-Co-op often has input lag for non-hosts. Can cause experience to vary.
-Limited mod support isn’t helped by updates just about breaking everything.
-Halo 4 still feels jarring when juxtaposed with its predecessors.
-Achievements will still sometimes not immediately register. Might even take until the next major update to finally kick in.

8.5/10, it’s probably the best Halo is going to be with the exception of Infinite.
