The servers are fine, populated, the whiners are annoying & cringe. BUT I'm refunding because the game itself is console garbage with ridiculously terrible controls, clunky, the crosshair in the bottom, low-range guns, high TTK, the starfighter controls are impossible to change... In a word, this is NOT Battlefield 1942, even though it may look like it. What a tragedy.

I'm still dizzy. Also, GLaDOS is hot because SJWs weren't a thing in 2007.

Saw this game in a Discord meme, decided to buy. A decent, albeit short, single-player shooter, a dime a dozen. The community seems to worship the developer in a cultish way (probably because they're anime fans?). As to the game itself... There are a number of issues:
1) some fights can be cheesed from afar - get beyond impassable terrain and shoot the mobs from a distance, the green pistol exacerbates this issue as it ignores line of sight (and that's aside from the mobs bugging out);

2) a boss fight can be outright cheesed due to its broken AI (with the green pistol ignoring the line of sight of the column);

3) some game-breaking bugs - stuck in-between the columns at the beginning of the game, then bugged out the door in one of the later levels.

And some more subjective critique - the weapons seem rather lackluster, the removal of the ammo system is a daring move, but the weapons themselves have only been 4 (as of chapter 3), with the shotgun rather useless, and the pistol seemingly the most efficient and easy to use - which can only be seen as a failure. The visual feedback of being damaged and/or healed is poor as well.

Overall, it's a decent game, but considering the cancerous praise the community is giving it, I will be a contrarian and downvote it.

1. The main issue I have with the game is that there are neither cooldowns nor mana costs for spells. Thus the gameplay seems to be quite impoverished - one will throw the fireball, cast the death ray, or lay the imba bombs ad nauseam.

2. The other annoyance is that while some spells (e.g., Haste) require 3 elements to cast, the maximum amount of active elements at a time is 5. This leads to those awkward moments when one has made a mistake in creating a spell with no other way to reset it than to cast the combination and try again.

3. Talking of Haste - with no cost to casting the spells, and thus with the ability to have a 100% uptime on this self-buff, what's even the point in having it?

It's Forgotten Hope 2 without the tanks (and the players).

Way too artsy, way too easy.

Way too short and easy. Quite absorbing for the first 10 hours, but then you realise the bosses are a cakewalk, and it's just going through the motions. Quite fun to craft the rocket launcher build, although not as fun if you get screwed by RNG.

Way too easy. Completed the first level only using the knife. Didn't touch the spells - they're both unnecessary and I haave no idea how to use the UI (yes).

I have witnessed this game first-hand, and I can impart my terrible knowledge on the unsuspecting folks.
1. When the match is found, the game goes windowed mode from fullscreen. The sheer possibility thereof traumatizes my poor brain. F11 is hardcoded to change between fullscreen, too.
2. The font is messed up due to the screen resolution (I guess?). Either way, the letters are too small to read.
3. The announcer voice has saliva sounds in her mouth.
4. Can't move in the tutorial.
5. The centred camera means I cannot see the entire team fight.
6. The dash ability works towards my cursor, not the WASD keys.
7. Have to wait 80 sec before every round because people have to pick their LoL runes or something.
8. The buttons in the UI are all white and the same, hard to see cooldowns.
9. Keys can be rebound, but it's buggy, to rebind the keys, you have to scroll down after rebinding the key, otherwise it won't remember.

Went in expecting a free-style WoW world PvP experience, got a boring grindy PvE trash game. Getting abilities from bosses? (/puke) People no-lifing the server so that you are hopelessly left behind? (/puke) Player housing with mobile-esque time gating? (/puke)
