Do I like this game ? I believe my hours shows I do ...
I`ve played it through 4 times ( writing this review) , - well, that`s a lot of course - , but for me ; Totally worth it.
And since you can put together your team(s) in so many ways, and give each character so many different roles - actually four times isn`t that much.
Did it take me 500 + hours to do that ? Nah. I tested out a lot of things , played it from a lot of angles, and I simply hated the idea of the game ending.
Why? :
Not because it is Xcom , or FF Tactics, or HoMM ( to mention some beloved titles for most TB fans ). It isn`t at all -
BUT it has the same feel to it , the same turn based relaxing - but at the same time challenging - Feeling. It makes me want to try it all, And there is a lot to try.

So. What will you get playing SoW ?
Probably everything a turn based tactics addict wants and love.
The story ? It`s ok , and it makes you want to know what happens next. Some people say the story isn`t important, but it is for me - or I personally would not be playing . I like the story, and I like the main characters . They were each given a unique personality ; I found that intriguing ! And there are romance !
A guy named "Cetiraliss" seems to have the most helpful review here on Steam , and I quote him , because he said it perfectly :

I want to add ; This game has you think and is fun in every difficulty. I actually suggest you play it on the easiest at first , or at least the first 12 quests - a couple of quests can be rather challenging if you want all achievements .
Is there anything I don`t like ?
... No. Only that it ended .
I can hardly wait for the DLC !

Probably everything that can be said about this amazing game, has already been said. There are countless detailed reviews here on Steam , and everywhere else.
So my contribution is a simple one :
I am about 380 hours in when writing this .
Do I want to play another game anytime soon ? No way !
Apart from the in-between relaxing solitaire - absolutely No . No other game will have a chance for a long time yet.
This is a game I Love playing solo - and I Love playing with others !
And Love is the right word indeed !
If you are looking for an MMO that has everything, this is it.

Con : As a ( huge ! )negative, I have to add that the controls could have been easier and a made lot better ; Way too much button pushing with some characters.

This game is - Nice.
Pretty kitten and puppy, and relaxing music. Perfect to wake up and play a bit before breakfast, or to play a bit before bedtime. You have only one solitaire to solve, but it is in six different scenarios, with two different ways of playing them. Also , the scenarios have several items hidden for you to find.
For the price, it is a little gem. Especially at the discount !
( For a sequel, please devs ; add one different solitaire per scenario ! )
For the solitaire fans out there (like myself ), it deserves a place in your library.
For achievement hunters and for cat and puppy lovers ; "Buddy and Lucky" has such adorable and lovely achievements !
And they are all manageable to get with a little patience .

This is a beautiful old school turn-based point-and-click rpg adventure , and I heartily recommend it .
It is based on fantasy game-books - so you need to like reading ; if you are unfamiliar with this type of game, I would suggest you check out some gameplay videos before you buy it. Not only to find if it is your thing - I believe such a video could make you hooked on it ;) Here is a 3-minute very informative one :

Hugely Replay-able !

It is amazingly addictive! Very finished, - very bug free so far , 66 hours in atm -
And for the huge game world and all it`s content, it a true bargain !

I also want to mention there are ( at the moment) two great guides for beginners here on Steam, and they helped me to understand the game a lot better. Though the in-game tutorials are really good !

I want to tell people it is a lovely game, and highly underrated !

I was skeptical when I started playing this , because it didn`t look like my other KB games.

And now,
I absolutely love it !
I do understand why people who wanted a new Crossworlds don`t get it - but I see it as a whole new game, and I truly enjoy every moment !
It is different. And a pretty , fun, relaxing, exciting , with lovely music as always - and it is definitely a KB.
Don`t listen to the angry disappointed voices - there are a lot of people like me who loves it.

The positive :
1. The story . Actually very much like every other KB story ; Fantasy , and not very deep, but interesting so far , with surprises , heroes and villains, twists and turns.

2. Easy learning curve . The game is very gentle on you in the beginning, with few fights , and lots of social interacting and treasure hunting. ( Probably why some people thinks the game is too easy - but it sure is not ! )

3. The fighting. It is different from former KB`s in some ways. The army you have is restricted to very few of each unit, and in stead of one unit representing all, they all show on the fighting arena . Also, terrain matters .
When you get used to it, it`s fun ! , and you have to plan your tactics and army carefully.

4. Nice skill management - and here too, you need careful planning. You can change your choices whenever you like, and the first time is for free. If you choose to change them later, it will cost you. There are four categories of skill trees, and you have to meet certain requirements according to alignment and moral, to reach the skills you want . Which means you have to choose carefully what choices you make when doing quests.

5. Three main characters to choose from, and if you like ; And several different ways to play the game.

6. Lovely music, as always.

7. Very Pretty Colourful World .

8. Relaxing in the way most turn-based tactical games are. Only, you are better off playing with a controller than your keyboard and mouse ( personal opinion, of course ).

9. Shops are like in most RPG`s , they sell better and better stuff the further in the game you are.

10. An early complain people had was about the character and her horse`s slow movement . This has been fixed , so it is no longer an issue . Thank you, devs !

11. The troop management is a great . You can have numerous reserves, and so you can choose what troops to use in what fight . Thumbs up !

The negative ( Not horrible, just a couple of things that could have been better , imho ) :

1. The puzzles - are nice, but way too easy to solve ; Look around a bit, and the answers will be given to you. Most of the time your protagonist tells you what to do . Later in the game you have to use your brain a little more - but not that much.

2. The treasure chests most often contains useless trash, only to sell for money . - However , and this in on the plus side again ! ; You do find a lot of nice spell scrolls - dearly needed !

3. The tutorials are not very informative - Several features could have been a lot better explained .

I am personally willingly pay the price for this , and I most certainly believe that developers should be properly paid for their work.
Compared to other games of this quality, the price is absolutely right.

I am now in my second playthrough,

One of the worst games on Steam, I am sure !!!!
How on Earth can this game be given 300 + very positive reviews ??? Something is fishy here, - must be ! ???!

The Negative :
1. The Worst graphics ( unique, I admit - in a very bad way ! )
2. The story is , well, - the best I can say about it, is that it is truly boring and predictable.
3. Takes maybe half an hour to read through .
4. Terrible music ( though some people might like repeated electronic sounds over and over, I prefer not to ! )
5. Nothing to do, just clicking .

The Positive :
1. Takes maybe half an hour to read through - or ten minutes clicking ; And then you have the achievements.
2. Nice foil badge.
3. Thankfully Very cheap .

I love this game. ! I`ve played through it twice , -( and a half way through once, when I chose permanent death , and everyone of course died :( )
Here is what you get :
The Good :
The story is based on Hungarian folklore, and is very well written .
Great customable options to choose from the start.
Different areas to go to, outdors, dungeons, castles , dungeons , etc - and you get fast travelling between them , early into the game.
Puzzles - great puzzles ! And nice secrets to find !
Character customisation is great, and you have the option to change it at any time , if you should want to .
Lots of dry humour :)
Combat is turn based, and since you have so many different skills to choose from, you can make it into a lot of fun .
Lots of items to find , and a vendor who travels with you .
Lovely graphics !
Lovely music !

The little ! tiny ! not so good ;
Item findings, and the vendors collection - it isn`t always that balanced, imho. It is a bit disappointing sometimes, when the vendor announces she has new items - and they are all worse than everything you already have . And you might be in great need for a good armour or weapon. Mostly armours - especially for the mages.
But when that`s said ; late game item sets are Fabulous !
Next little ! tiny ! complain is :
It is a bit tricky, - (at least it was for me ) - to figure out all the mecanics of the game . I had a few ! " Oh ! I can do that ! I wish I knew before ! "

Lastly , a suggestion : Playing a mage as your main character is recommended, since another mage wont show up until rather late in the game. But really, Operencia is fully playable without a mage .

Really sorry for my thumb down on this game. Because I love it - Of course I do, having played it for 90+ hours !
It`s a match-3, so what`s to love especially with this ?
It is difficult . I like difficult tactical games ! And this is part tactic, part luck.
Fun.
Makes you try "just one more time ! "
The next scene is always a new scene !
Character developement !
Gives you the opportunity to rearrange your choices, so you might win the next challenge !
So why the thumb down ?
I now know that MD was made originally so you could buy marbles in-game. And now you cannot any more. Which makes the game extremely difficult.
I am very good at being patient, good at trying everything to win a challenge.
But after the Witch ( Level 91 ) , the game becomes crazy hard.
And so , at level 111 - I had to stop. There is no way past that level, unless you are incredible lucky ( very doubtful to that ever happening - and tactic won`t help you much here ! ) ,

Here`s the thing : After level 91, a new type of marbles are introduced ; They explode and destroy you after three turns, if you cannot destroy them first. No hitpoints left, no matter how much life you have - one such marble at countdown 0 when it`s your turn , and you`re finished.
I managed several levels with this , but at level 111 , it stopped. Because here, those exploding marbes are too many, and the AI is Not affected by them - so the AI can simply consentrate on destroying you - both with spells and matching ! . While you are overwhelmed and totally unable to use enough tactics to win. And no, You don`t get to use any spells.
How long I tried ? Several times a day for a week or so - Read ; A LOT ! . I don`t give up easily.
Of course, if you had an option to get yourself the coloured marbles you needed here, it would have been a different story - But no such thing anymore.

So that means I have to leave most of this game unplayed - unable to finish, unable to see how the story goes. And the girl had just met a potential boyfriend ! ( After growing up , of course - happens after level 91 ) How sad is that !??!

Do you want a fun turn-based RPG, with humour, really cool character developement, great crafting system - and a bit so-so story , but nice enough ? Then this is definitely for you !
I really love the fact that the tank here is a little girl ....and the healer is the really big guy ;) Crazy :) !
And you get to go fishing !

Negative ; The story is not the greatest, mostly because it seems you are in the middle of a book without any beginning, and also not really an end. The last is ok - I really hope for a sequel ! The first is of course because this is originally a comic - so lots of people knows the start and characters already. I wish there was a little intro about it, because I have never heard of this before. And many with me.
But the minus is only a very small one !

The Positive ; Absolutely Everything Else !

The dungeons change every time you enter them - and you need to enter them more than once, if you want to get it all.

...and remember to watch out for "Airship Syndicate " ( the developers ) - they sail the skies , looking for you, and attacks at any opportunity ;D

Seems to me some people expected a remake in stead of remastered .
Of course this game is worth the money. It`s a wonderful story, a huge gameworld, tons of things to do and discover, if one should wish to do it all. And the gameplay is a lot easier here , than in the old game.
It might not be perfect - but I am so happy with what they did to this ; Made me start replaying one of my most beloved games ever !
There is no way I would continue playing the modded version in stead of this.

Sirens skirt in stead of her fig-leaf ? Really ? I think It`s lovely, actually, and many with me do -
But if her skirt , or no skirt, is the reason for negative reviews, then why buy an FF title at all ? There are lots of other games to fulfill those peoples` dreams .
