If you like team-based shooters, get this. It's truly a one-of-a-kind game. It takes all the fun of modern shooters and adds elements that just take it to the next level. Because you can die so easily, teamwork and communication is absolutely key. Honestly, play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. It's the best shooter out there!

considering no one plays, the fighting mechanics are awful, and theres only one map, the price isnt at all worth it.

the most people i found on a server was 2 (which is quite astonishing actually). we quickly learned bots dont spawn when theres more than two humans in a game. so that got boring really fast.

PS. the devs said they are going to add more maps after they perfect the main arena map, although theres still not enough content right now to justify a purchase.

might be a lot better in the future, but this is a review of the game in the state its in now

I gave this game an 8 because, although I absolutely love the gameplay and mostly everything else about it, the fact that there are microtransactions in a paid game are disgusting. As if the devs aren't already getting $15 for every copy.

As well, the whole weapon upgrade pickup system is a bit flawed. Let me first explain. When you kill someone, they drop a glowy blue block that, when picked up, upgrades your weapon. The problem is: anyone can pickup the block. This means you could be sniping away at one end of the map, but all the blocks are miles away. In a way, this is good because it supports your teammates fighting on the front lines, but you still arent realy getting rewarded for your efforts. As well, you could be fighting on the front lines, get a kill, but have a teammate or enemy run by and pick the block up before you get there. I'll admit, I've done that before, but I still get a little mad when it happens to me :P


In the end, this game is a must buy for TDM-based shooter fans. I hope the devs will tweak the weapon upgrade system a touch, and I don't think the microtransactions are game-breaking (rather just immoral).

for a game that's been out for ages, it's glitchy as hell
maps are pretty glitchy in some places, and shift-tabbing gets you stuck in the ground

dont get me wrong, this is a very fun game, but the glitches get a bit frustrating at times

Reaper is an absolutely beautiful game in every sense!
I saw this game on greenlight a little while back and I knew right then that this game was gonna be great

I don't even know where to start on praising this game!

For one, right from the start the game is gorgeous. The hand-drawn art is amazing and the soundtrack is even better. The atmosphere of the game is just so cool.

The gameplay is also very entertaining.
One of the things I really dislike about modern side-scrollers is that they're all way too easy - but this isn't at all the case for Reaper. This game has the perfect amount of challenge to it - not so easy that you get bored right away, and not too hard that you hate yourself after dying about a hundred times. The controls are very unique and very easy to get used to.

I cannot stress how great this game is!
Everything this game promises, it delivers.
And it's the perfect prce at $5!

this is a great game with a great concept. me and my cousin played this almost non-stop for a bunch of days and we loved it. the graphics are great, and for such simple controls, the combat is very sophisticated. but it's definetely not worth the price (even the sale price). for that i give it a 7.5/10
