I guess it would be unfair to give this game a negative review if I played it for hundreds of hours (including off Steam) and will probably play it for hundreds more.

However, I have some strong criticism. The devs regularly release overpriced DLCs with minimum features. The features contained in the DLCs usually introduce strong power creep, so that the best nations to play tend to be those that got the latest update.

As a game, it's amazing, but maybe wait for Paradox to release Europa Universalis V before buying this one with all DLCs included for like 15 euro.
