Hope is lost. This game is soulless. Mindnumbing, I'd say. Turns the blue sky gray type game, i must say. My happy heart dies when I launch this game. It's nothing but a black, god-forsaken, anti-christ, husk of nothing.

Only about 10ish hours into the game and i am constantly saying to myself "oh wow that was an unexpected mechanic". There haven't been too many games where i've had to constantly adjust my play-style in order to be successful at the game. this game seems like a relatively generic open world zombie survival game when you first start playing but the moment you invest some actual effort and time into the game, you realize it is a lot more than that. it hits a really really solid balance between engaging, well paced combat and general gameplay with a great story and not leaving the player behind in terms of understanding what's going on. rare find for sure

It's a lot like fallout 4 in the way that if you grew up playing fallout 3, you'll probably not enjoy fallout 4 quite as much because of how amazing fallout 3 was. If you grew up playing just cause 2, you'll probably have a similar experience but I firmly believe that if you give the game a chance and learn to adjust to the difference in gameplay that it offers over jc2, you'll enjoy it a lot. I played a ton of just cause 2 on xbox when i was younger and i fell in love with that game and moving on to just cause 3 was definitely a shock to me but at this point, i can honestly say i love both games equally albeit with some nuances here and there

at the point of this review, ive owned the game for about 48 hours and i've accumulated 28 hours of gameplay already. its a pretty good game
