Aslong as you are a patient person willing to see how creative and interesting this game is; this game can give you unlimited potential for anything you want to do pretty much as the modding scene makes this sandbox game give you the ability to do just about anything you can imagine in your mind.

I personally use gmod to make realism gameplay videos of sorts. But you can mod the game to do other things such as crossing over NPC's from different videogames to face off each other. Or for example completely spoofing up the game for a non serious meme worthy experience for a good laugh. Or you can mod the game to become a tactical shooter with survival horror elements, Gmod really does leave the player with full customization over the entire game allowing you to tailor the whole experience to you personally.

It's YOUR Gmod setup. The entire game is directed like a movie by you at all times in this sandbox game. You, your enjoyment & what you create out of Gmod is the objective.

It requires finese and a lot of messing around to get Gmod setup properly and decluttered of excessive mods if you download too many and getting it well optimized is a challenging but key component that can also be assisted by making a custom autocfg file that will contain helpful commands for improving performance such as activating m_core_test 1 or something like that for more CPU cores to actually be used in Gmod and even improving the lighting such as r_radiosity 4 (pardon me if i spelled that wrong), but the results are satisfying and worthwhile with effort, the right mods config and commands, and a strong computer, beefier the better. I personally recconmend the 64 Bit beta opt in version of the game for more modding capabilities and functionality, improved performance and as well as the ability to intake more, infinite memory ceiling into the game rather then the hard 4gb limit 32 bit source engine pushes before it crashes.

You can literally create whole short films or youtube videos with this game. Theirs so many tools available to you to setup any skit or situation.
