Early Access Review
This is a biased review because I love this franchise deeply

I have close to 700 hours on Mount & Blade Warband, and Bannnerlord is a wonderful successor. The factions in the game are inspired by real world cultures such as Vikings and Romans, and you are given free choice to interact with them however you so choose. Want to be a fierce, merciless viking? Go for it. Want to be a Dedicated Roman General? Go for it. Want to be a feared outlaw, raiding villages and taking no prisoners? Go for it.

I think that the skill system still needs some kinks worked out, because at around level 20 or so, progress in skills slows to a crawl. That said, you can compensate for a lot of this by recruiting skilled companions to join you on your adventure.

I think the game is wonderful and a lot of fun to play

I bought this game on sale for ~$16 and I'm having a ton of fun with it. It still has active servers on multiplayer and the story campaign is short but well executed. The gameplay is really fun and satisfying when you hit a difficult shot or pull off a cool stunt. Would recommend

Secret Word: Condom

This was the most unique game I have ever played. As someone who's never seen this series before, this made quite an entrance! It's fun, silly, absurd at times and it asks you to look into yourself with honesty at your own pace.

I also love the character of Mommy Superior (Great name btw, it made me laugh on multiple occasions), who guides you through the game and has a really fun sense of "will-they, won't-they energy tied to her.

All in all, the game left me very impressed and I'm looking forward to looking into Randumb Studios' other games, which seem to all be connected in some way, if I understand correctly.
