The trilogy story is done well and structured well, in ME1 it is simple and introduces us to all the species in the galaxy and the world of ME. In 2 the story is focused on investigating (much more than 1) the facts and twists are added, and it peaks with the suicide mission. In 3 we still don't really know the truth of what happens because it is very interpretive but on this I refer you to a guide containing spoilers

ME1 is a shooter rpg in which you can give movement and attack orders to the team, very nice and different missions, the characters are very well characterized and the choices made are definitive and affect the whole trilogy.
ME2 brings improvements to gameplay by amount of useful weapons and abilities but deteriorations by exploration of planets.
ME3 is better in customization of weapons and abilities but exploration on planets not inherent to the story is eliminated. even the side quests, if only slightly, have weight on the endgame.


Well-done environments and AI, especially in ME3. Difficulty level a bit low in fact I recommend playing it on hard. The suicide mission in ME2 is the pinnacle of level design, something you've never seen in almost any video game, it gives you the shivers.


one of the most beautiful soundtracks, at some points in the game the ambient audio is a little too loud compared to the dialogue

the graphics are remastered, not a great job but mass effect itself still has nice graphics

If you only do the main story it will be 20 hours for each ME, about a 40 hours for each ME for completionism

the elimination of the Mako in 2 and 3, some facial expressions (Legendary Edition only). The ending of 3 may not like it but it's all a matter of interpretation
