TOTAL WAR ROME 2. It should be renamed CA's POS! Even post 8 patches there are still glitches like the black box and there are still major fps drops; but the thing I hate the most is that CA is releasing freaking DLC for this game while most people still cannot play it because of its unoptimization. CA claimed that this game would "be able to run on virtually any machine:" well whoever said that must've been fired, because this game is the complete opposite. I sat all night long playing Total War Shogun 2 until my dream game, the sequel to one of the best Total War games, came out; then my eyes were assaulted with the horrors of Total War: Rome 2: there were framerates constantly dropping from 30 to 15 on low settings (on my moderate PC), unfathomable bugs, and an overall experience that put me one step away from the series.

Therefore, after long patching, I believe you should not purchase this game, not just because of its glitches but because of its somewhat mediocre gameplay overall: Battles are 90% men marching and 10% actual fighting, the campaign and battle uis are both terrible and hard to use (the best thing you can do is move your cards wherever you want).

My final rating is 6/10 DO NOT BUY THIS POS GAME
