Finally finished the game with 100% achievements so I guess I'd give it a review.

If you've ever play "The Last Stand" which is a web browser based indie flesh game then this game is kina like the exact same thing though I would still prefer that game than this any day of the year.

Its a pretty straight forward "fight and survive" "and Kill zombies" game. If you want (or lovessss) some mindless shooting/killing zombies then this game might be for you.

I actaully really loved the game, gave me quite a few hours to kill. Only problem is that once you reached a certain point, the game starts to lag. If the devs could somehow fix this lag then this is just perfect mindless fun.

9/10 IF there were no lag
but sadly 5/10 because of this lag. Pretty much ruined the much fun it provided.

One of the best games ever made.

Note: All of the playtime I have in this game was done within one and a half month.

Okay with that out of the way, I managed to work around the so called U-Play and was able to play the game just fine. All you P-ussies whining about how U-Play is ♥♥♥♥ is stuff should not call yourselves a true gamer. A true gamer will work their ass off and do whatever it takes in order to play that game. A true gamer fear no obsticle. A true gamer always finds a way.

Anywho...
"From Dust" is a pretty decent and well-rounded god-sim game where you use your powers to help guild the villages to where you want them to go. It's a bit old but graphics are still pretty nice even for an old game. The game is as simple as it can be and is really well done.

8/10 Nice game but Maybe wait for a sale.

It is pretty amazing how a game can be so simple yet so complex at the same time. It captures the beauty of both worlds in term of simplexity and complexity.

Whether you want to just play a single match or a serries of games following a three hour marathon, this game is just so perfect for you. Oh and the game have endless replayability becuase no single match never feels the same.

10/10 One of the best purchases I had ever made.

A really nice board game that is simple enough that anyone can get into it, but also complex enough that one have to put quite a lot of thinking into it in order win the game. Online Multiplayer is not supported yet as far as I know so its limited to LAN only.

The graphic and game-play is very good. No bugs or glitches.

I would recommend it but not worth the full price. Get it only on sale. (I got the game with 75% off sale)

Okay, so SHK wanted players to give feedbacks and review of the game so here it goes.


First off to those that does not know the game, it takes a long long long time for ages to pass on different worlds and they never seem to be ending soon so I will give some feedbacks on the future of the game and for future new ages(which desperatly needs to warp up and end really really soon.

Edit: The end game is finally going to come (Not too soon but soon lol) so thats a plus at least for me. Why? Because the game will die out if there is no implementation of this said end game. Anywho, on to the review! :)

Intro: As for the game itself, well reviewing this kind of game is going to be a tough one since its really different from any other game I had ever played. To keep it short, SHK is a game somewhat like Trivian or Tribal-Wars which are real-time based (Build your kingdom type)strategy games. Of cause SHK is much more complex and beautifully complicated than any other MMO out there. Just know that these kind of games will suck in all of your time and all the beautifully built villages that you have put so much time and effort can easily be taken away overnight. Yes that's right, overnight! But that is not so much of a bad thing because thats what makes the game very interesting and complex. Yes you can lose your villages but the honor, gold, faith points and rank will remain the same even if you lose all your villages. Keep in mind these such points are the important part of the game, not villages, so that is a good thing that you dont lose your progress.

Gameplay / Graphics As for the gameplay, this is a straight forward build your kingdom and expend it at all costs. It can be time consuming, very very much so. I had played this for over 3 years on and off and I can never get on top of the leaderboards yet. Also, there are groups(factions and houses) where you join and fight for that particullar group. These houses either ally themselves with one another or declare war on each other because the main goal of the game is to win the glory race. The gloary race can be won if a house can eliminate all other houses thus the last house is ultimately the winner of the race. You get big rewards if you win the race that can be used to give some perks on the world you are playing and on every other worlds.

Graphics in this game is taken almost 100% taken out of the original "Stronghold Crusader" game that came out over a decade ago but that's not really a bad thing either since that was one of the best games ever created, ever. They did improve on the quality of the game though, so its really well done. This is a strategy game not a 4K graphic driven game so graphics doesn't really matter.

P2W(Pay 2 Win? Well, many of the reviews here are stating that it is a P2W game and I won't try to argue it because to an extent you can progress much faster with the cards in the game but it will only get you so far as to how much you are willing to spend on a free game and hornestly you really don't get much advantage over other. It is totally possible to get to the top without spending a single dime on this game. Just need a lot of hard work.
--- I would say this is 10% P2W and 90% hard-work.

Final Verdict: Yeah I would totally recommend trying to game out especially if you are a big RTS-MMO fan and even if you are not its just fun to grow your village and take over other people and fight for glory. Just try to out, don't let these stupid one sentence "BAD!" "P2W" BS of a review get in your way of a great game.

My score of this game is 7.5-8 out of 10.

Game is absolutely broken. 4 hours of my life I would never get back.

Played it when I was young and starting to get back at it again. Pretty decent match-words puzzel game and pretty straight forward too.

At the full price I would definitely not recommend this game as it is simply not worth at its full price due to not having so much content. But on a sale of a 50% or more then I guess its worth it(I say 50% because after being on steam for more than 3 years I had never seen the game sale go more than 50%, seriously I waited).

Its a game to keep your mind fresh and keeps you occupied. :)

27 hours and still havent got through the first boss yet.

10/10 Would get stuck and waste my time again.
