I spend a moment quieting myself, inviting the Holy Spirit to help me examine my day. I go through my day in my mind, recalling what has happened since I woke up. What have been the low points of my day? What have been the highlights?Overall, what has my mood been today? Happy, sad, excited, frustrated? How was this mood affected my relationship with others? When have I felt God's presence today? When have I felt him challenging me? When have I felt his mercy and blessing? I ask God now for forgiveness for any sins I have committed today. I allow myself time to feel God's forgiving love. I thank God for the highlights and blessings of my day. I look at the remainder of my day, what have I left to do? I remind myself to let God expierence those things with me. God, as I end the Examen, help me remember that You are always with me and give me strength and courage for the remainder of my day.
