God of War 2018 is honestly one of the best video games I have played in a long time, and would give it praise just for it's tight controls and fun combat systems, and just how amazing all of the visuals and art directions that were taken; but that would just be the tip of the iceberg on this one.

If you haven't already seen it, I couldn't recommend enough to anyone the documentary Raising Kratos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJZWKBDXXFY&t=776s&ab_channel=PlayStation ( AFTER YOU FINISH THE GAME) . This whole video was definitely a driving force for how much respect I have for this game, and all of the devs that sacrificed and poured so much love and dedication into such an amazing piece of entertainment and art. It was so jarring to get a real sense of how much time, effort, stress, and tears went into this project, and I believe it paid out in strides, and that the whole team deserves all the praise and love from their fans.

For me this is definitely a must play for its well crafted story and themes, along with the stellar cast and their performances.
