Conditional Yes for recommending:

This is a PC port of a mobile GACHA game - for those not familiar with what a Gacha is, it's a term derived from "GACHAPON", or a japanese term for a capsule dispensing machine, where you don't really know what you are getting for your purchase. An easy analogy to draw is opening a pack of Pokemon/MTGO cards and not really knowing what you are getting. For those with experience, this game is VERY similar to Summoners War.

What this means is that - you could, theoretically, spend upwards of thousands of dollars on the game and not get the unit, or "Card" that you want. Keep this in mind when deciding whether or not you want to pick this up. Note that you don't necessarily NEED all the best units to play competitively.

In terms of visuals, this is a phone game - so keep in mind that the graphics won't blow you away.

Pros:

- Can link account to your phone (or your phone account to your PC) meaning you can play on the go

- Heavy emphasis (incentives too) for co-op play with others, which is the norm in MMOs but almost unprecedented, at least in this scale, with a phone game.

- Art style (subjective point) is fairly on point and heavily draws inspiration from Japanese mythology. I'm looking at you, weebs.

- Customizable team builds, I think currently there are 80+ unique units with different skills? It's nothing too impressive but nothing to laugh at either. Each unit has 6 slots that you can put "souls" or unique stat allocations, in to tailor them to your own needs, so a unit can be geared to be tanky or geared for damage - you have control over that.

- PVP/PVE - for those who care about competition, there is a PVP matchmaking system in place. PVE challenges can get very difficult.

Cons:

- Requires HEAVY time and/or money investment to be decent at the game.

- Requires a LOT of grinding

- PVP currently is basically a speed check - the faster team generally wins with the correct composition.

- Rates are 1.2% for SSR (rarest) units. For some this may be prohibitive.

- Only 2 main ways to get new units - through shard collection or summons. Shards for rare units are hard to come by

- Window is NOT resizeable, whereas on facebook gameroom you can play on full screen.

In short, this is a game that you'll likely enjoy if you like grindy, long games where you build up units, or if you're the type to like collecting units (like Pokemon, but less generous?)
