Early Access Review
If you liked Grounded and wanted more this is the game for you.
From mounting hornets and slaying huge spiders, to building your dream home on a meadow, among poppies by the river.
The river is deadly though.

After 2 years of concentrated updating this game looks and works nothing like the premiere version. It was enriched in almost every way possible.
Bethesda admitted defeat in terms of their idea to eradicate NPCs and brought them back some time ago. The world seems more alive thanks to that, as well as to increased ammount of quests that came along.
Net code could be better. The problems demonstrate themselves in the most clear way when you try to loot a corpse and the contents are loading in front of your eyes.
The story included in recent NPC dlcs is pretty bland compared to main quest centered on finding the Overseer of vault 76. Task that you undertake allow you to travel across the map, which varies from simple forest, through marshes, ash ridden volcanic-like highlands and urban areas.
Multiplayer content consist of dungeon type quests, world quests that require stronger teams, or just playing with friends in a group of maximum 4.
For me the most exciting part of the gameplay, as well as the one that made me stuck with this game at times when I maybe shouldn't, was exploration. Despite the fact that the most locations still don't have NPCs in them, learning the story of a places I visit, through holotapes and notes left in a hurry, make me wanna appreciate the effort of someone, who put their work into making this place believable.
All in all I'm accepting faults of the game and I'm trying to bite only things that I enjoy out of this open-world. Every update since release was free, microtransactions aren't invasive, and you don't need them at all to draw pleasure from decorating a house or looking for components to craft dream weapon or armor piece.

Oh and watch out for MEGA SLOTHS, yes MEGA SLOTHS.

Definetely a pleasant game in terms of shooting, original heroes, community and devs that cared about the players, applied changes that we demanded but there is few flaws. Game community is small, you basically play with the same people all the time, matchmaking is weak and changing something during a match is almost impossible. And on top of that the game wont be getting any more attention from the Devs, because they realise that the player base is tiny and they are focusing on other projects right now. In conclussion the game is fun, especially with homies, but the fact that it is not supported anymore and the community is melting down is worrying.

A game that should give you a lot of fun for a dozens of evenings. One more round syndrome detected. You can play with friends and a CPU a well. There are lots of nations so you can't get bored easily. You always start at a different position so theres no routine. Absolutely great game.
