Spoiler-Friendly. Honest. 100%. Detailed. Review.

- If you're still wondering whether to give Cyberpunk a try in 2024, then let me help you make a choice in this matter.

- If i were to compare this game to another one, it would be "Borderlands 2". There is just too many things literally taken out from that title, and put in here, which doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing, it's just that you get the feeling that you have already seen this in another game.

But for more detailed review:

**************** GAME LENGTH ****************

- Main-Story = This mode can be finished just under 20 hours (you would rush through the game, without paying attention to anything, skipping all the dialogues, which kills the purpose of this game, also locks you out from other cool weapons, dialogue options, vehicles, romance options, and many more).

- Main-Story + All Side "Gigs" = There is a lot of those side "gigs" out there, so i'd say it's around 50 hours.

- 100% = Way over 80 hours. Depending if you are a "speed runner" or just someone who wants to explore literally everything-possible in this game, you can "complete" it in between 80 to 150 hours.

*************** GRAPHIC SETTINGS *************

Tested on a low/medium budget rig (GPU 1660Ti).

- Low settings = no extras enabled = 77-110+ FPS (Do not play on Low settings if you value your eye-sight)

- Medium settings + bonus lightnings etc. enabled = 39-70 FPS (avg. 47). Playable.

- High Settings / Ultra = Unplayable (Too few FPS).

Great thing about those settings is that you can change a lot of stuff in there, customize your own options and such.

****************** MAIN STORY ****************

- Lore/Story = Very immersive story. I really felt for the main character, and their difficult situation. From time to time, if you're here just to have fun, and kill things around you, then you will get bored out of your mind, listening to some confusing lore / new information thrown at you, but doing couple of side-gigs outside the main mission, will help you with the monotony. If you are into this i call it "interactive movie" type of game, then you will love it, sometimes i felt like there's way too much talking over action, nonetheless, i love the story, i wish there was different endings to it included, but the CDPR really went out their way delivering most immersive and well thought endings / choices there can be.

***************** SOUNDTRACK ****************

- Oh my, oh my, where do i begin. The soundtrack in this game is awesome. Both the radio-stations or the "combat music" are just epic. I strongly suggest doing side-gigs in Valentino's area, because they have the best combat music there in my opinion.

***************** WORLD / MAP ****************

- Open world. Very detailed mini-map. Most of the things are just there to act as a background, i'm talking about clubs, shops, bars, etc. But some of them are open, and able for us to just walk in to, especially after the recent (2.0) update, there are lots of new buildings such as kiosks that are open there, just for us, even though they do not offer much.

- I like to compare the map sizes in games, to the time it takes you to walk / drive around it, just like in Fallout games. If i were to put this logic to CP's map, i'd say it's a pretty big map. Probably takes around 40 minutes to make a full circle around it, by a really fast car, but it also includes the desert areas. If you wanted to drive around the urban areas / cities only, then it would take less than 15 minutes instead. I do not feel like the map is too small, though if it was bigger, it would've been better. After all, size does matter.

**************** BUGS / GLITCHES ***************

- As of 3/2/2024 (Update 2.11) There are still some glitches, bugs, weird-acting NPCs, illogical behaviour, and invisible walls mixed with you falling out of the map.

- None of those really ruin your gameplay, that unless you want 100% immersion and realism, then yeah, they will snap you out immersion pretty quick. They do not happen very often, but they still exist, like in any other game.

- No data corruption files / bugs (tested only on PC). Falling out of the map does not kill you, rather it just spawns you back onto the ground after some time, buggy NPC / glitches can be sometimes funny, so it's wise to save every once a while, or just enable "auto-save" feature in the settings.

*********** WEAPONS / SKILLS **************

- The recent (2.0) update brought a totally new take on the skill-tree available in Cyberpunk, also added new features like "vehicle combat" which i'd assume the developers themselves have envisioned way back in 2020 when they first released the game, to actually be in the game, but we all know what happened there.

- The new skills system is more detailed, has more skills to chose from, and the ability to chose a different type of build for your character, whether to go tanky, sneaky, melee, or range, and many more. A huge disappointment by the fact that there is a level cap in this game, probably bypassed by mods, but i do not personally mess with any 3rd party mods, locking you to just one type of build for your character, for it's impossible to reset your skills, which is a big poo-poo.

- Lots of weapons to chose from. Melee weapons as well as ranged ones. One-handed pistols, two-handed machine guns, sniper rifles, shot-guns, and many more. I only wish there was an option to let you wield double- pistols like Jackie had, but we'll see.

*********************** + / - *********************
+ Killer music.
+ Immersive story.
+ Lots of choices / Dialogue Options / Endings to chose from.
+ Amount of missions as well as side "gigs".
+ Lots of weapons as well as vehicles to chose from.
+ Character customization.
+ Easter eggs, celebrity cameos.
+ Edgerunners.
+ Making me want to own a bike.

- No controller key-remapping settings.
- Level cap.
- The level requirements of specific skills (e.g. open locked doors) are scaled off of your max level, meaning you will never be able to explore 100% of the secrets, since you cannot reset your skills).
- No possibility to reset your skills like mentioned above.
- "Secret Ending" requirements. Since this is a spoiler-friendly review i won't say more.
- Gets boring sometimes. I hate you for making me replay this game over and over again only to see how the character lines would change depending on your "friendship" level with them...

********************** SCORE ******************

- I gave this game 8/10 back in 2023.

- As of today, having finished the expansion (Phantom Liberty) and getting used to the new mechanics, weaponry and totally new take on a skill tree, i will say that this game does not deserve anything below a solid 9/10.

- This definitely has become one of my favourite games.
