"I really wouldn’t recommend Legends of Idleon anymore. The developer has started hiding more and more important items behind real money currency. For example, during Christmas, they put essential things like inventory space behind a gambling system, where rewards are tied to a spin wheel—totally unacceptable. It’s already hard enough to manage inventory space,
On top of that, the developer doesn’t communicate with the community, making changes without transparency. Patches aren’t listed, and important changes like boss adjustments are made without any announcement. For instance, they reduced the number of bosses you can defeat daily from 300 to a chance of up to 300 gems. But this doesn't guarantee you 300 gems—you might only get 90 or even less. To make matters worse, the boss button now spawns randomly, and if you miss it, you get teleported back to the city. It’s incredibly frustrating.

And if you don’t buy the packs, you get left behind. You’ll need a much longer time—sometimes even months or years—just to achieve the same things that paying players can get in no time."
