Bonelab doesnt feel like a game. It literally feels like a too long tutorial.

It honestly feels like they wanted to port bonework onder a new name, add like 2 features, and have modders carry the game. It honestly is a solid 3/10 in my book

The only innovative thing they have done is the avatar switching at a pull of a chord and the strength speed system.

The majority of the guns are ported from bonework, the ai is still dumb as ♥♥♥♥, the levels feel half assed, theres only like one voice actor in the entire game, it has no replay value unless you play it with mods.

But if you add mods, you still arent getting a whole lot of replay value.

Its a solid 2/10 with a grace of 1 extra point

Like it would be a more solid 4/10 if the ai was anything other than "slowly walk up to you and punch" when you have guns

The shooting ai only shoot 3-5 round bursts making them incredibly easy to take out, theres roughly 4 different enemy types, the same ones that were in boneworkz, the slow walk up to you and punch you, the great value headcrab, the gun holograms, and the mages.

I just cant recommend this game to anyone unless they havent played boneworks.

Someone modded in the entirety of boneworks into bonelab so theres literally no reason to play boneworks.

Even boneworks was a solid 4/10. They say they innovated ♥♥♥♥ but it has worse gunplay than pavlov (pavlov is multiplayer but comparing bone series to H3VR is like comparing a babys basket ball skills with Michal Jordans)

The melee is worse than Blade and Sorcery's

You get yourself caught in everything that has a hole in it,

Ai is dumber than a baby (literally walks at you to punch you)

Level design was bad

H3VR and Blade and Sorcery has one Developer and H3VR contracts artists for certain guns. Bone series has an entire team and doesnt even get close to the beauty of either of those to games or even comes close to the respective combat interactions.

When you fight the Sosigs in H3VR, they can duck, dodge, and roll

When you fight the NPCs in Blade and sorcery, they will dodge, block, and run away from you. They even get staggered!

In the bone series, if you head shot an enemy, they still walk towards you. You hit their arm, they WOBBLE and walk towards you

The bonelab literally did one thing new

With boneworks, they said they "Innovated VR for the future" when they havent done ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and actually downgraded enemy ai to be "walk at you and punch"

Oh and the ai in each game will literally get inside your hitbox just to damage you. Making any blocking and melee attemps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless, but if they get that close, thats on you.

took me 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours to even get to the launcher only for the launcher to crash on me every single time after the 3rd attempt.

This game is straight not worth it

Chernobyl is more stable than this game. Chernobyl blew up once, this game has crashed 29 times in 24 hours

got it on sale for 50% off

not worth it. Cameras are broken for Punt returns amongst what other people are saying about it

Pushes its predatory UMUT on you hard too. I couldnt even find the main game or anything playable for awhile until i RESTARTED the game. All it did was bring me to UMUT if i clicked franchise or whatever.

I can easily predict the RNG if its against me and reliably predict when its for me.

Never above 3 if its for me, always a 5+ if its against me

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck but my god is this fun

Couple texture errors here and there, a little bit of lag as things spawn in when you first launch

Gunplay and hit reg (pve) feel great though! Just need friends

World is great, story is quite bad.

Feels like they wanted a PVP game but didnt add PVP stuff

Feels like they wanted a PVE game but forgot about it.

90% of the quest is "Kill [MOB] in [INSERT LOCATION HERE] [INSERT # OF TIMES HERE]

It's extremely boring and i wish i could refund it. oh well, bought into the hype and now im disappointed

awful game, campaign is great, multiplayer is about as balanced as an mma fighter going all out on a baby.
game is actually worse than cod cold war. thats saying a ♥♥♥♥ ton
