This game is goofy and fun. For your first playthrough, install the prepare carefully mod and make things a little easier before you start a new game. Dont be afraid to save ♥♥♥♥♥ a little bit so that you dont have to restart too many times, but don't get too attached to your favorite colonists :). The multiplayer mod works very well and you will likely be able to use your favorite mods with it! The community is very active and earnest, if you get involved in things you will meet very earnest and kind people. You can mod the game to be an entirely different experience for every time you play. It is worth the buy
