I was on the fence for buying this game for the longest time, though having enjoyed games similar (Gunfire Reborn and Deadlink) I decided to buy it when I saw it was released.

And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it did not disappoint. In fact, it might be my favorite of the three now. The movement system is incredibly freeform, fun, and you can stomp on enemies like you're mario but you have guns like you're doomguy.

The classes all have a lot of fun and unique ways to build them, play them, and synergize in weird ways, and exploring the levels for secrets is a ton of fun too.

Just don't let Billy Boom's funny yellow bar fill up. That's very bad.

An incredibly fun and varied game for any fans of old-school CRPGs. The moment I bought it and played it, I literally spent entire days playing it till completion since I was just so hooked. And then I rolled up a new character and beat it AGAIN shortly.

My only warning to new buyers that may be worried about the game's difficulty is that this is NOT a game you can be a pacifist in. You need SOME method of enacting violence, since while you can intimidate or persuade your way past most humans, the mutants and post-apocalyptic wildlife will not be swayed, and you have no companions who can do the fighting for you.

Other than that, just pick a fighting style to be good at and you will be more or less set. This game dominates and gives a surprising amount of leniency in a lot of areas I didn't expect a "hardcore" RPG to give me.

So yeah, great game, highly recommend, would spend week entirely on it just to play it, the DLC is very good too.

Easily one of my new favorite games of all time. A Roguelike with tons of replayability, each character feeling incredibly unique (And staying unique through the whole run), and A roguelike that doesn't feel as RNG heavy as most others in the genre. Add the excellent workshop support and you have a great recipe for an incredible game to play alone or with friends. Definitely worth, I'm excited for the sequel.
