An example of how all developers should make their games: with passion.

Highly polished and a surprisingly high amount of complexity. It's pretty fun!

Ridiculously hard that it's not even funny, get ready to throw your mouse at your monitor. Very satisfying when you do kill that boss.

This is a review that doesnt focus on AC: Origins as a whole, but one that focuses on the Discovery Mode.

The shear amount of effort that got put into this mode is astounding, and I greatly respect the dev team for it. Being able to see all of the hard work and dedication in a game without the noise of quests and combat helps me to more fully appreciate this game.

For those of you who don't know, Discovery Mode is a secondary play option where the entire world basically turns into a museum. It is a great way to fully experience the history of Egypt, and get a good look behind the scenes of the making of AC: Origin's.

I cannot give this mode enough praise. The voice commentary is top notch, almost all of the content is engaging and interesting to learn about, and the real life pictures shown in the tours are an excellent addition.

Before AC: Origins was launched, I did not have a great interest in ancient Egypt. The history and culture dident strike me as being interesting enough to delve deeper into. This changed after I went on many of the tours in-game. I gained a greater respect and understanding for ancient Egypt, and I fully intend to complete every tour in Discovery Mode.

Ubisoft, if you read this, good job and thank you for this mode! Please try and fit this feature into the future AC titles. I want to be able to appreciate the time period, setting, and all the hard work that the team puts into these games. I would gladly buy any AC game that comes with this mode.

*New Solaris Chest comes out*

"I really want that Alabaster body armor, lets buy $20's worth of chests"

*Opens all and gets 2 Radiant body armor pieces and tons of radient boots*

"Ugh, well ill just buy $10 more and that will be it"

*Opens chests and gets tons of gargoyales but no Alabaster chest piece*

"Wow this is some really bad rng, $20's more of chests shouldent hurt"

*Opens chests and only gets gloves, skin transfers, and gargoyales, but no Alabaster chest piece*

*Contemplates the amount of money i just spent on poe*

"Well im basically a supporter now, so im just going to buy the $50 supporter pack"

*Spend the points from supporter pack on chests again, still doesnt get the Alabaster chest piece*

10/10 would spend $100 on gloves, boots, skin transfers, and gargoyales again

P.S The dev team on this game is amazing. I have no regrets on funding their paycheck.

It's one of those games that when the credits role, you sit back and say "wow, that was amazing".
