New update has fixed a lot of issues the game had in the past. There are still a few bugs here and there, but not anything crazy enough to break immersion from what I've seen. Although better than initial release with the edition of the metro system and several other big additions, I would still recommend installing mods to up the experience further. A decent 7.5/10 on it's own in my book.

I only got a 2080 TI, game runs amazing. Make sure to set your resolution, I don't think the game does it for you, once i changed it I had a massive improvement in FPS. Not sure if that helps or not. To all the others saying they have better cards/ etc etc and it still runs bad, skill issue i guess? downloading the new update now so it should be more performance fixes. So far, worth every penny to me. good game, 10/10, huge improvements over the first game with new additions.

Rust is one of the few games I'd say has a truly unique fanbase. The people who play this game will be toxic, hilarious, stupid, and just plain strange all at once. It is a great game to sit back and chill in, without a care.
