Good game.

Review on Launch:

We tried for 7 hours to play a 8 player multiplayer campaign and after 35 turns we had to abandon it because of so many crashes. It's unacceptable for a key launch feature to be this broken. The game is so poorly optimised .Also sieges are even worse now if you can imagine? Please just give me the option of disabling them at the start of a campaign.

Should you buy this game. No. If you are not as invested in this series as I and others are (over 1000 hours on all three games) you are going to likely have a bad time with the current state of the game. You are better of waiting for "Immortal Empires" a free DLC that is coming that will combine all 3 games. By then the game should be in a much better state.

Review now:

This game is now very playable with Immortal Empire and although it has many balancing and faction placement issues the game is good fun.

Credit to the Warhammer III team the once non-playable multiplayer seems to now work quite well. I will say pausing every player after one person is making a decision is still rather annoying and I wish they would explain their reasoning and tell us if I could be removed?

The settlement battles and still awful and I wish they would give us the option to remove them when starting the game. CA has also decided to remove confederations between AI factions a move that will only make the endgame easier. Most of this games problems could be solved by giving us more freedom in the settings menu and even allowing modders to add assets to the game.
