As a child I was involved in a penquin attack at a zoo that left me with no sense of smell. I have always been interested in shooters but could never compete due to them all relying on an overwhelming reliance on having an acute sense of smell.
I have found that with OW playing as Mercy I can compete without a sense of smell due to her unique mechanics. I hope more Devs follow suit and think about us gamers without a sense of smell.
Before OW I was in a very dark period in my life. I had just done laundry and was missing several left socks. I was left with 2 options: buy new socks or buy OW. I bought OW and don't even care about socks anymore! This game saved my life!
As a transgender(not by choice, an accident at a mini golf course) player with no sense of smell this took a lot of COURAGE to post. Thank you for the karma and golds in advance!
