Yeah, I did mean impactful as in a game that stuck with you, like you said - an emotional journey. But I agree, it could mean a variety of things, haha. Farewell North would be my first pick (of course) and also Arise: A Simple Story. It's a great platformer that deals with mortality and memories.... it sounds really sad but it's beautifully made with a unique mechanic of time manipulation, which is refreshing. Anywho, I could ramble all day, haha. Have a great weekend!

I thought the winter stickers were pretty festive this year (along with the emoticons). I did grab all of them, and some cards to level up. Onto waiting for the next sale + goodies! :P Sometimes it's nice to sit back and play a relaxing game - I see lots of users play jigsaw puzzle type games, those look relaxing. I use to have a lot of puzzles irl, and it's pretty therapeutic! I wasn't sure if you had some kind of order to the listings in your showcases, it is hard to pick favourites - they're all so good in different ways! I did organize my completionist showcase in order of difficulty. LifeSlide, Joe Wander, Schein and Racoo. I haven't encountered any 'tough' games lately to add to the case yet. ;x

There were a few times where I was caught up with games on my wishlist, but then found a slew of new releases or hidden gems. So you're right, wishlists are neverending. :P I heard winter sale cards won't be given out when viewing your discovery queue though, so that's a bummer. Maybe more stickers then? I haven't played Abzu before, I see it's on your Completionist Showcase (and first place!) so it must really be good. I will definitely check it out, thanks! :) Yeah, exploration games can be really sad. For me it's between Farewell North, Lost Ember and even Hoa. For sure, and it's always good to have a palate cleanser after playing an intense game. I played Mind Over Magnet - it's a simple puzzle platformer similar to Hue and The Pedestrian. It was short, but a fun game. :) I also saved some games for the Winter sale because there will be trading cards, and those are always fun to collect (helps with leveling up too). :) Can't wait to see what you're going to buy!
Ah, sandbox games are great for replayability, the outcome is always different. Very cool, I will check that out on HB - thank you. :) The weekend went by super quick, but it was pretty uneventful. :P I hope you have a fantastic week. I'm glad the storyline won't deter you; FN is a rare hidden gem in terms of storyline and a connection with the character(s). It's been stuck in my head ever since I've completed it, and the reviews are really good. I tried to split up the games on my wishlist between this sale and the next, so my wallet doesn't die, haha. I did get some games I've been eyeing, and some spontaneous buys because they were so cheap (Toki Tori 1 & 2). Now to figure out which game to play next! Congrats on completing Minami Lane! How are you with sad games? I knew going in Farewell North was somber, but it's easy to get teary-eyed towards the end (I don't want to spoil anything). But it's worth it because the gameplay is beautiful, exploring the different skerries and going through the adventures was satisfying and fun. The compass did help me find some musical notes I couldn't find earlier while in the canoe, but it was still tricky and took me a bit of time to locate them. I hope it'll be on sale for you. :) Um, maybe the first few games on my WL I'll pick up if the discount is good. I have more "coming soon" games than actual playable games in my wishlist, haha. How about you? It's best to be prepared and get those achievements incase they became inaccessible later on. I've noticed some games can be in early access for a few years. :( Thank you so much. Okay, so upon finishing Farewell North - I completely forgot there is actually a compass you can use. I use the D-pad, so it's not always accessible to me. But when in the canoe you can hold down on the d-pad and a compass appears at the bottom of the screen. It does help, which is always a bonus when finishing up getting all the collectibles. :)
