Early Access Review
The gunplay and movement in this game feels incredible, and the artstyle looks gorgeous, it's still in Early Access, so it's got limited ammounts of content, but new stuff is being added in a steady pace, and what *is* already there is more than worth it, especially considering the leaderboards have already been implemented, so you can grind for better times and scores in the 4 different gamemodes that are currently available. Overall, it's a great game, and I'm excited about what's next for it.

This is the prettiest music game I ever played, Beat (aka the main character) is the best and the OST is awesome. I love everything about it.

This game is really fun.

Backgound on the review: I'm not a Granblue Fantasy fan, I haven't played the mobile RPG at all. I am however a huge fan of Arc System Works. I'm a novice FG player, so not exactly the most experienced out there, but I do know the genre relatively well.

The game is accessible. Everyone can pick up and play it without ever having played a fighting game, thanks to the simplified moves, that come with drawbacks but are waaaay easier to perform. Intermediate or experienced players will probably not use these and will be rewarded with faster move cooldowns for their more complex inputs.

The cooldown system is fun. It still forces the player to manage their resources, but frees up the meter so they can use it for their supers, making them viable and strong tools without compromising other aspects.

It's also one of the slower paced anime fighters out there. Combos are shorter, but deal hefty damage, there are no airdashes, and a lot of footsies are played in neutral. It feels like an in-between of Guilty Gear and Street Fighter and that fills a niche that doesn't really have anything else.

Finally, the graphics are gorgeous. ArcSys has been doing it again and again with their 3D fighters, they consistently have beautiful graphics and are hands down the best looking FGs using 3D models out there. GBFV is no exception, a lot of care went into every single animation, and even the lip sync, which was admitedly not amazing in campaign cutsenes in previous titles, is now solid.
