While first playing the game (first 15 mins or so) I though this might be similar to another animal catching type game, but its not, It is entirely unique.
The base building is fun, animals working for you in the base, the absolutely gorgeous open world and view is spectacular.
Sometimes I climb a mountain just to look at the view, the graphics are gorgeous.
Pals are fun and interactions with them entirely unique, something i have never seen in a game before.
Multiplayer is fun and being able to play with your whole family (again fairly unique in a game like this).
10/10 game play

Just goes to show what you can do if you care about the quality of a game for the end player and not just releasing another generic animal type trainer game that has a different colour - you know who Im taking about, shows mint nedo are a bunch of lazy bar stewards.

The only negative thing I have to say is that steam crashed when I tried to buy it as soon as released (because everyone else was buying it too) and I had to wait an extra 4 hours of toe tapping time until I bought this gem.

Multiplayer!!
I can wait for both of us to get sunburnt, stung by a snake and explore.
If you fall off the raft am I coming back for you.
Nope.

Exploring and mining are fun.
I am either far too hot or too cold.
I am happily building and a vambie screams and I pee myself.
Meeting a bear is no fun.

This game is 100% "survival" its not easy, its designed to make you work for it.
The areas and game detail are fantastic, base building is fun, not a chore.
The updates are superb and the price is excellent for what you get.
Multiplayer is great except for when you team up with a wimp and have to spend the whole time mummying him XD

I really enjoyed this game when it first came out.
Under my advise my brother, sister husband and kids bought it. (sorry guys)
Its fun for 5 minutes, run about get a car, drive the car, glitch through a bridge, try and bring equipment back.
Wheres the car? no idea, get another car built - it just disappears. The whole game is a nightmare, starting loot and foods a joke too unless you own your own server (which i did, shame on me)
Its not being worked on properly and is the buggiest, most disappointing game I own.
Buy ARMA, 7 days to die, the forest or literally any other game before you waste 30 odd quid on this.
The updated map was just another money grab and is an absolute shambles.
Wish I could just get my money back :/

All elder scrolls games are amazing, (except online)
Skyrim is immersive and loads of workshop items to customise your own game.
