I have to say, this game dissapointed me. Maybe I have high standards since the last hack and slash I played was Bayonetta. RWBY: Grimm Eclipse was just that- grimm. Very mundane and boring. The game works and runs just fine, but that's not the problem. The characters hardly have different move sets, animation is a bit different but they all play the same way. Nothing exciting happened in the time I played and tried the different modes. Multiplayer online was where is was especially prevelant that all characters were essentially the same. No cutscene or plot opening for new people who don't know about RWBY (me), just fight monsters, run to checkpoint, defend tower, repeat. I got the game at 10 USD which is half price and I STILL don't think it's worth it. No way I would spend $20 on a game like this.

I feel like i'm one of the only people to write a negative review, but before you pull out your pitchforks and go sjw on me hear me out. The game concept is great, and I like the way it is set up. The animations are cute and go well with the fun music. The problem itself is the trivia and the consequences of missing questions.
First of all, a total of four categories; one being completely ambiguous, is not an ideal way to make a game in which the main focus is trivia. Second, whenver it lands on "something bad happening" most of time it is dull or straight up morbid, which really bothered me. Just because I missed a question about an anime I didn't know about deserves an old lady having a heart attack and dying? The game makes you feel guilty, and don't give me that "just get gud" because you and I both know that we've missed questions.
I've been a fan of anime for several years now so I went into it beliving I would be pretty dang good, only to be bombarded with a bunch of new/ weird anime i've never even heard of. not ALL questions are like this, obviously, but i'd say at least 70% are catered toward a younger more mainstream anime fan. Overall it's just a frustrating game for someone who watches jeopardy all the time going in expecting to do well, only to end up screwed over with a horrid or tragic ending of a character based on my "failure". If you're fine with missing 3 questions and the spinning to start for it to trick you onto a X and get screwed over, then this is just the best game ever.

Overall, this game is great. It runs smoothly and looks great, and the controls make sense. Playing it is really fun and addicting. As with any game though, there are some cons. Despite this, I reccomend this game 100%.

Pros-
1) Addictive and fun gameplay.
2) Follows the storyline with well animated cutscenes.
3) Graphically consistant and fluid.
4) After beating the story there is still a ton of stuff to do.
5) Extra expeditions and challenges after main story without and dlc or extra money.
6) You can unlock a fairly good amount of characters to play as.
7) Each character has their own unique abilities and playstyles.
8) You can play as titan Eren. That speaks for itself.
9) After completing challenges cutscenes can be unlocked, some of which the dialouge is from an OVA.
10) Once you get used to the controls, you can kill titans like a badass whenever you feel like it.

cons-
1) Movement of titans can be kind of janky especially after taking down the legs.
2) When buildings are destroyed on/near you, it can be really difficult to find yourself and get out of the mess. Titans will also occassionaly get stuck in walls. (Ironic, I know)
3) The collection system to upgrade weapons and gear can be a bit too tedious and confusing.
4) You can actually go TOO fast for side missions and the flow of things falls behind. (This is rare though, only happens when I go beast mode with Levi).

This game is really fun and worth the play. My only bone to pick with this game is the story is trying so hard to be "mysterious" but it's so obvious what's happening next. The fact that the game is extremely fun and fast paced makes me forget how bad the story was. The fighting is very fluid and the soundtrack is very good as well.

I'm not an RPG player and this was my first RPG in a long time but this was great. It has a unique battle style that makes you have to think quickly. The storyline was also phenominal! I won't spoil anything but I will say that i'm very suprised of how much depth and backstory the game has. You also get to play as the character in flashbacks needed to progress knowledge of the story. All in all a well-rounded great game.

I actually like this game a lot on some occasions. Get your friend to play with you but don't explain a single thing to him/her and they will be completely mind F*****. Want to get high but don't want to roll a joint? No problem, just jump into this game. Want to feel what is like to be on LSD without doing it? No problem, just get high and then play it (Especially the harder levels).

Every Sakura game isn't complete without bathing in chocolate naked. Even when the plot is about trying to get out of the walls of the city and fight monsters. Love what they did with the "gifts" given to each character, and quite a sexy twist on this one. No cluless dude to ruin the fun.

Cool throwback RPG game. A lot like a game for a gamboy in the early 2000's with some better implementations in place. 7.5/10

Very skeptical, but actually worth the buy. Had some Legend of Zelda type aspects to it. Obviously not the best in graphics and not a long story but it's pretty interesting.
